hey I need your help, and a lot of help...

1) how can i install the themes or layouts?

2) what software how can I edit the .ini files?

3) What is the programming language used by pokerstars for .ini files?

I know you will tell me... Go to 2 + 2, there is an exclusive forum of that... Let me tell you that I have already been there and they don't tell how to create a layout, it only talks about people who create theirs themes and don't share it.

Somebody?
please!

Neat -- I ddn't even know you could do that...
Did you email support@pokerstars.com (or .eu etc) to see if the might even publish the steps necessary to create a custom layout?

Best of luck,
VS

If there is no tutorial then Download the themes and investigate them. Maybe you will be successful. Btw. you should look also on Youtube there might be something. If not then you must use your own brain.

your ideas was what I wanted to do... download mods from that website and see how they program *.ini files ... but for my misfortune: "I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO OPEN THE *.INI FILES"

1. Just copy the theme files in the correct folders of your Poker software.

2/3:
I dont want to be mean but you have still alot to learn about computer/operating systems in general. But okay you can open .ini files with any text editor.

That stuff has nothing to do with programing and you can´t create a theme just by using .ini files.

This folder should be interesting for you:
\PokerStars.EU\Themes

This should help you also:

Google search term:
pokerstars custom theme tutorial

There are maybe also other useful search terms just play around with this stuff.

Ini files are just text files so you can use notepad or download notepad++

In the Themes folder mentioned, there are .ini files, that can be opened by a text editor.
Notepad (not Wordpad) will work. That's the good news.
The bad news is that there is nothing humanly readable in them -- and some of them are binary files.

Best of luck...

For binary files he can use a hex-editor. But it will not help im probably.
