Just wondering guys.
I got knocked out of a tournament yesterday when my opponent limped in preflop with KK and I raised with Ace-Jack and then he shoved on me without hesitation. I called and didn't hit the Ace. I should of folded. I would of had 15 BB left.
I had AA about 4 times yesterday in the one tournament. I had KK and QQ at least once too.
Who else limps in late in the tournament to call all ins from desperados?

Limp/shove is pretty much a monster hand.
I've done it in Spingos, but not much elsewhere.
How to defend against it?
A lot depends on what position you are in relative to the limper, and your relative stack sizes.
If they're aggro, and suddenly limp, I get suspicious -- just like if they're passive and suddenly go all aggro.
I've moved this to the tournament forum -- it might pick up a few more answers there...

cheers buddy. i'll have to watch out for this situation next time. was a $55 high stakes tournament, so maybe he had a good read on me, because i was raising and 3betting alot of the time. he was the big stack and had me covered by about 10x, so he was only risking about 10% of his chips when i called his all in preflop.

By the way, can you please move my Limit 2-7 Triple Draw guide and Limit Omaha 8 or Better guides to the tournament forum? I think it may get a better response there

I had actually considered moving them to the "Other Poker Variants", or "General Poker Discussion" but in Blogs they might even get more notice, since people check there.
I would suggest that you have just the one blog, and post each section in there -- and let the replies gather for a bit between sections.
Up to you though.
Let's leave 'em here for a bit.
Part of the problem is that there aren't a lot of players here playing non-hold'em poker.
Hopefully these posts will improve that!

There is just a few scenarios that you limp with monster hands.... like late tournament early position when you have a strong stack and try to induce others to push with their low bb stacks,like you oppo did... Or like if you have a good read on someone and try to for example limp on SB to induce shove.... In other scenarios IMO is ridiculous to limo with the monster hands. GL on the tables
I see this kinda play when there is a shoving stacks left behind inducing them to shove so they get max value..
I kind of knowingly fell for the same thing on Friday. Tourney was just ITM and villain with 65BB limps from MP1. Action folds to me and I‘m looking at QQ in SB and shove for 22BB. BB has only 3BB stack and calls. MP1 calls with Jacks. Flop comes J96-6-2...

never limp AA KK QQ especialy in spin$go, in that way i loose 75% hands :)))

I very often limp from the early position, only AA and KK. Especially if I have aggressive players in a late position. I like to put traps...
If you very often limp other things, then limping monsters makes more sense.
If somebody who raises a lot suddenly limps, I get suspicious
That's the problem with limping only monster hands, but at the micro's you get away with that.
