We could do some sweat sessions on nl100hu if you want;)
Just have to wait until next week when I get home to my good connection ;)

I might consider that Snodreliss.

I will give small update about last week. I didn't play enough hands, I won big but then lost it all when I tried to get $600 from fish (he lost hist $800 stack to $130 and I let him double up with my money and in the end he won another $400 from me :(). I will post last week's graph and a picture of me raping my friend. By the way, this week has started with small upswing (+$800 but I have only played one session) so I need to play like 4k hands on the weekend, will see. School is almost over and there's not so much studying and other shit to do (unfortunately I'm felling in love with DOTA and chess).

So graph:

And picture of me raping my best friend (he is that dragon, I'm the butcher):

Ended my today's 2k hand session. Was up $225 (+5,7bb/100) had pretty much beats so it's good I made that much. Now I'm gonna end my $1 tourney and play some DOTA and do some other stuff.

are u interested in arranging some dota games? it would be quite cool i believe :f_biggrin:

Fo sho, though I suck at DOTA, do you have Garena account (mine is immot1). I play mostly at garena with my friends.

I haven't posted for some time due to me being lazy.

Here's 3rd, 4th May week and overall May:

Last month I made (with tourneys and bonuses) about $1k. I think it's alright but I could do better. I ran +5bb/100 at NL200 and I think I had pretty bad run there. The main reason, why I didn't win so much last month was NL100 HU donkaments :f_confused:. Oh man I was suprised opening May's analyze tab and seeing that I have lost $1k there. Lol, I only remember 2 losing sessions, one where I lost $450 and the other where I lost $250 but I have also won some sessions so the -$1k came as a surprise. Now, that means, when I feel like donking off I have to go to maximum NL50 cause the risk of losing money is smaller there and I beat them with my 100/100 style).

So school has once again ended. This obv means lots of free time. I was thinking of going for diamond this month but I'm still not so sure about that. I don't feel so motivated playing long cash game sessions. 2k hands a day is absolutely max for me. To attain diamond status and keep my self IRL with 2 feet, I have to play about 1500 hands a day, 5 days a week. _o: (hehe, funny shark picture) Today I played 500 hands so I'm not sure. I think I will not grind so much, just enough for sustaining platinum star at PokerStars (though 15k hands a month is joke compared to some of you, I think ThelastNail plays the same amount of hands in 1 day).

For the summer I will try to participate as many sunday mills, sunday warm-ups as I can. I have played sunday mill only once (and sucked badly) but I don't give a shit. I will try to make about $10k with tourneys in summer and about $4500 with cash games, which is somewhat weird cause my friends go to summer jobs and stuff where they are extremely happy if they make $800. Anyway I don't really care about cash winnings but getting that $10k with tourneys is both hard and challenging. It's a bit big goal given that I will probably only play tournaments on Sunday evenings, but maybe someday I feel like grinding again like I used to (get up 10AM, start up the tourneys and end at 4AM).

We'll see!

Those are some swingaments up there ^^

Good luck with your aims. If you ever decide to play poor man tourneys (for example daily 30g n stuff) maybe we could do it like old times. You know - with mirc, silly talk and TEH RAILMOBILE!

fo sho and we can yell:

Last week was pretty ok. I played 4k cash hands and some tourneys. In cash I won lik $1k but with tourneys lost about $400-$500. I didn't play Sunday mill but instead sunday warm-up. The reason is that Sunday mill starts way too late -.-

Sadly I really don't feel motivated to grind for long hours. This is bad because I won't play enough tourneys to make deep somewhere (I think you need to play about 100-200 tourneys to final table or even win one). Meh, I will try to force myself to play at least Sunday tournaments.

No I didn't attack NL1k or that shit just 3 unlucky hands straight. AA vs A4 (he got quads, though I think I tilted in that hand and could have saved $150), then top set with 88 vs Q8s (he got runner runner flush), then QQ vs preflop slowplayed KK.

Will take a break, not sure if I'm gonna play more cash this week, maybe only HU.

So this week has really ended now with surprising results. After that loss at FR tables, I went to NL100 to play some HU. I started playing with one guy who was pretty bad and I won 4 stacks from him (running +127b/100). Then he made a proposal to move this party to 2-4 tables. I was ok with that and there we battled through more couple hundred hands. Then end result was that I managed to win $750 from him and make my day +$50. Even though I was up against him $1.1k at one point I'm still happy about the results (cause I was down $200 also at one point).

I have decided not to play Sunday Warm-up (won a ticket to it btw), because I feel like I have played enough poker for today.

This week's complete graph (I ended up +$800 this week):

BREAK

Yes, I'm taking break from poker. The reason is that poker doesn't interest me so much as it did before. I have been grinding (not insanely but still) every week for past 2.5 years and now every time I try to play poker I have to force myself and it's not so much fun anymore.

I will be active on forum and evaluate hands, maybe sometimes play some major tourneys or HU cash. I will not withdraw my BR from pokerstars because for now I don't know what to do with the money.

This summer will be spent with friends mostly!

Here's my this months graph:

That's +20bb/100 but I have lost about $1k with tourneys. Still, pretty solid month for 7k hands. So see you some times when I'm active again. You can still find me on mIRC channel.

Groams vs Timukasr Epic SnG battle

Like the title says I have returned to poker after small break and I'm having challenge for $500 with one Estonian SNG player called Groams (you can find him at pokerstars with that nickname).

Groams is a SNG player who has won over $10k with SNGs. Here is his graph:

We got into a small row after I evalueated his SNG hands at Estonian poker forum. I completely disagreed of his opinion how those SNG hands should be played and he then said that why not have a challenge, who can make more money with SNGs. I agreed ti that and here are some cliffnotes of that cahllenge:

-players will play 1000 $16 9-man max turbo SNGs at PokerStars
-time to complete all 1k SNGs is month of July
-players must play 16 tables minimum (except when they open or close the tables)
-players can play games as successive or sets, whatever they feel like
-winner is the player who has at least 3% better ROI than loser (to reduce the variance) if the ROI gap is lower than 3% then it's friendly draw
-loser will give the winner $500
-results will be taken from sharkscope graphs

Before the challenge I started to read SNG articles, watch videos and try ICM trainer. I found out that I was/am complete fish with SNGs and I need to work hard to have a say in this challenge. Looking now back at those hands, which were the reason of this challenge in the first place, I think I have to agree with the way he played them. I think my "expertise" opinion was too cash game oriented.

I consulted to Miskovo about this challenge and he gave me some great advice that I will follow for sure. He suggested to work with ICM trainer 30 mins before every session and play 2-3 hours a day.

I agreed to this challenge because I was really bored of poker and I needed a change. This is a great motivation for me and Groams and I will surely try to win it. At the moment I'm underdog and people at Estonian forum are giving chance to bet their $200 to your $100 that I am winning (2:1). I haven't yet played a session but Groams's first session ended up with -16% ROI, though it was only 16 games.

So we'll see how will I do and wish me good luck!

Good luck with your challenge! Make sure you let us know how you get on :)

Sarah
