BTN: 111.9 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 2.22, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 45)

BB: 129.7 BB (VPIP: 26.83, PFR: 21.95, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 41)
UTG: 99 BB (VPIP: 30.68, PFR: 18.18, 3Bet Preflop: 6.06, Hands: 88)
UTG+1: 155.1 BB (VPIP: 13.64, PFR: 11.36, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 44)

MP+1: 43.7 BB (VPIP: 13.33, PFR: 10.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 30)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) CO has J♠ 3♦

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, MP+1 calls 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (12.5 BB, 4 players) 8♦ 8♥ 6♣
BB checks, Hero bets 6 BB, MP+1 calls 6 BB, fold, fold

Turn: (24.5 BB, 2 players) Q♣
Hero checks, MP+1 checks
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

my plan was to check here and bet the river in any low card. But I keep asking myself if I should simply cbet/fold here rather than check/call turn and fold river or check turn and bet river...

River: (24.5 BB, 2 players) A♣
Hero checks, MP+1 bets 10 BB, fold
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

I guess I could represent an A here but I saw no point on doing that. Any worst hand was going to fold to a bet and a better hand was going to call or raise.
I thought about check/calling, but with 2 overcards on the board and that size looking like a value bet, I prefered to give up.

Spoiler

MP+1 wins 23.3 BB

I would have pot betted the Flop. I don’t want to give good odds for a villain on a draw. I agree and don’t agree with your plan on checking the Turn with the intent on betting the River with a small card. I would perhaps take that line. But, Villain’s starting 44 BB is fishy enough that I would bet 25 BB at the turn. I like the River fold. However, since I multi-table and listen to YouTube while I play, I may have missed Villain’s small starting stack. Thus, besides my larger Flop pot bet, my play may have been very similar to yours. However, I may have checked the river with a small river card. Then, I would call a modest 20 to 25 BB bet. This seems to be a hand where it isn’t necessary to be very aggressive.

Considering that villain is a fish, I would bet 2/3pot or more OTF.

JJ. I probably deleted the wrong hand. I usually try to keep only my own hand, so the analysis would be unbiased.

I'll call the river bet. He calls the flop bet in 3-way pot and he has many PPs in his range. He might try to steal the pot OTR by representing the ace.
