I had no information on the opponents. As my homework to loosen up I've decided to open with KQo.
Good flop 2 pair, decided to cbet 3/4 pot to scare out some draws and unnecessary floats.
Turn is a brick. 1k in the middle 1k in the stack and question how to play here vs 2 opponents in game.
wait and check? fold to heart on the river? on the turn only 88 was beating me, which was quite unlucky for 1 villain to have.
Shove turn or not?

Pre-flop is a loose open. Especially on a unknown table, but the rest seems alright with top 2 pair.
Most of the time I would go for a small bet on the turn like 12bb with the intantion to shove the river. I'm no fan of over shoving.

Cheers,

Yeah pre is bit on too loose side from UTG in 9handed. Though I would still personally open some of best suited broadways. Postflop well played. As you said 88 is only likely set and there are lot of weaker made hands or draws that might call your shove. If it was rainbow flop I would prefer bit smaller flop and turn bets but on this one I like line you took.

Well I would say that in 9man mtt (cEV) in decent table (skill wise) opening KQo from UTG is likely bit -EV. Now in sng we have bit of ICM tax but at same time player pool is likely on weak side in micro/small stake. So I would say that if you have good amount of edge on table you can open KQo profitably here but if that is unclear folding is probably better.

From UTG+2 KQo is mandatory open at least.
