When playing vs a unknown short stack in a 3 or 4-handed table, is this ok?

$0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players

BB: 75.2 BB (VPIP: 54.55, PFR: 18.18, 3Bet Preflop: 25.00, Hands: 12)
CO: 30 BB
BTN: 31.2 BB (VPIP: 75.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
Hero (SB): 100 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB, CO posts penalty blind 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.4 BB) Hero has T♥ T♣

CO checks, fold, Hero raises to 5 BB, fold, CO raises to 30 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 25 BB

Flop: (61 BB, 2 players) K♠ 8♣ 5♥

Turn: (61 BB, 2 players) 6♠

River: (61 BB, 2 players) 7♣

Seems fine or you have reads he's only doing this with monster hands.
The limp/shove strategy.

Looks like he posted his blind first hand at the table.

Definitely calling this, the whole setup just shows that villain is a fish, so I'm more than happy to get it in. There is obv a chance villain shows up with AA once in a while, but I would also expect to see hands like weak off-suited Ax very often.

There are a lot of combinations that you can beat including AQo, so you did the right thing.

You are right.

Vs a "known" player, some that I've been observing for a while, unless I have a read that he is an idiot, I tend to "respect" those limp/3bet shove. They are usually AK or KK+.
But the guy had just arrived, posted the blind OOP and was short stacked. What are the odds of him having a truly good hand?
Well, maybe vs unknown I might have to respect those moves anyway...

You need about 40% for a BE call. Even vs QQ+, AK, the strongest range, you have 36% equity, so it's not a big mistake to call even vs that range. With other words you must be very sure that the player has really strong range like KK+ to consider folding here. Vs player who posts a penalty blind with 30 BB stack you dont have the right to think, this is automatic call.

Villain put a penalty blind and has a 30bb stack.
These two reasons are more than sufficient for you to know he is a fish.
TT is a monster hand in this spot.
If he has better, so be it, it is part of the game.

Against a fish, I don't think too much to call this spot, he'll do this with broadways and all pairs.
