Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) UTG has 3♥ J♠

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T♥ T♣

UTG calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls 4 BB

Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

I only raised here because, at that point, I had the impression villain had been donking/leading smallish frequently, without any clear reason. So, I guessed I had the better hand and could extract value from AX and smaller pp.

Turn: (35.4 BB, 2 players) Q♠
UTG bets 24.2 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 24.2 BB
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

Not proud of my call, but I was tired of folding to this villain shove OTT or OTR https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=494360 <

River: (83.8 BB, 2 players) A♥

Spoiler

UTG shows 3♥ J♠ (High Card, Ace)
(Pre 27%, Flop 17%, Turn 7%)
Hero wins 79.8 BB

Completly standard. You cannot even think about folding vs this guy. He'll have a queen or some crappy 2-pair occasionally, but you'll have the best hand 70%+ of the time.

Btw, I don't even mind to lose vs him, he'll donate the money back, fishes must win sometimes, or they'll disappear.

Raise bigger preflop.
Raise bigger OTF.
Turn is meh.

Wow! A VPIP of 87.93. You were ahead of most of his range. You played the hand well, I suppose. He would have shoved on the turn with any of his range because of pot commitment.

Why/when should I raise even bigger OTF vs SS?

To reduce turn SPR and shove easily. If he shoves flop you have a easier call too.

UTG started with only 42 BB. Fishy. Also, makes calling his All In very easy.
