Ok going to stream today at 19 CET.
Have not been playing poker or streaming now but will start again on next week Wednesday probably.
Actually cut down a tree (if that is correct term) today with motor saw for first time ever. Not counting earlier really small ones though.
Wasn't that big but had some solid foundation on the practice with best way possible (5 min YouTube video). Made around 60 degree cut from direction it was supposed to fall and horizontal cut below it to get piece off. Then from other direction almost all the way with other horizontal cut bit above first one.
Then just little push and gravitation did remaining work. Planning to go to clear our land beside certain lake. There has not been really much done for decade or so. Meaning lot of smaller stuff need to be cut first with brush saw and then probably some of the trees also. So had bit of trial/training session ![]()
Doing that sort of work on previous month with those 25-30c would have been almost suicidal but now with 10-15c it's pretty nice. Though t-shirt was still enough today as using that motor saw is pretty hard work.
For not playing poker main reason is that we have 5 year old nephew visiting for week here. Its tough to concentrate on decisions when he comes to ask all sort of stuff etc. Also he probably would not want to go sleeping at that point. So just easier to keep it poker free for now.
Ok next stream will be on wesnesday at 18:30 CET this week.
Nephew had been too much on my desktop so decided to turn power supply off from the switch it has. Then he came and asked for help. Just said no idea, must be broken. Well that worked for while and he was outside and drawing etc. At evening I hear him saying "Its not broken, its not broken, I fixed it!" Well he had gone searching behind computer, found and flipped switch and tadaa!
Well today we had same issue so decided to go with other way. Flipped automatic fuse off. Only downside is that it has all three bedrooms behind it and also wlan router is in computer room so no wlan. Well still easier that way to get him to focus on something else than trying to turn his head otherwise.
Pretty rough landing on the games today. Totally card dead in both mtt games (few decent hands on bad flops or busted solid draws) and well in sng... I think I lost 3-4 times allin with 80% hand (not single suckout from behind spot in 20/80) and I think maybe two times I sucked out with 30 hand in allin. Lost close to 10 when 70% favor. Of course cannot say for sure but around that. Not even accounting actual flips where run was not hot either.
Anyway tomorrow will be rough day in some forest action so hopefully I dont fall asleep during evening stream
Had very aggro opponent in this hand. Went preflop for 2.5bb open and he called. Could have also limped but we were I think around 40-50bb deep so even if he made normal 3bet I could continue. Anyway on flop I hit the nut flush and decided to go for check-call line. Mostly because this is one of few hands than can be nicely slowplayed on monotone flop and I had feeling this guy would often bet any pair at least once and could bluff/semibluff with lot of stuff.
So check-called flop and turn. Unfortunately he checked river and showed weird hand with ATo no diamond.

Come as visitor to stream?
I thought about doing some other type of content on my youtube channel. So it could be some sort of hand history review or database study preferably from someone else data than me as I dont have anything from unibet games. So is someone interested? This is absolutely free offer. Any games from holdem HUSNG to MTT are fine to me. If interested comment here on this blog or through PM or skype if you already have me added.
Above offer would be best with analyzed player as quest in stream but I am not sure how well my mighty 4G connection can handle skype call (and possibly screen share) and streaming at same time. But would be nice to try how it goes.
Back from forest. It was pretty tough workout. Using brush saw and motor saw for 5 hour with couple short breaks. Has to give respect for people who are doing stuff like that as day job!
Wonder how getting up from bed tomorrow morning will happen
Any old X-COM fans here? Some from original games are creating game called Phoenix Point which seem like awesome game so far. Some information here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgamer.com/uk/amp/phoenix-point-release-date-trailer/
It´s always a pain in the bum bum when you wanna take the x/c x/c x/r line and then Villain checks river.
Maybe a big river-bet which looks bluffy can be an option? For value and for bluff (balanced)?
What sort of hand would you use for bluff in this spot for that line Prim?
Main point in taking check line on river also is to strengthen my range as otherwise top of my range tend to be like top pair with diamond or some QdQx.

Well I don't really care if visitors are good or not but I have just got bit questionable image of you from forums so far from posts I have seen.

A hand with a diamond blocker: like A♦ 6♠. Something which blocks the flush and maybe the str8. A♦ 7♠, or A♦ Q♠
Would bluff-bet with busted draw.

Yeah flush blocker is important though for this line A high has some showdown value also. Which is sort of why I would prefer use them as check-shove candidate.
If villain check we can still beat some semibluffs. If he bets e.g. 800-1000 we can check-shove as bluff which will look really strong. Not getting any flushes to fold obviously but some of villain value range anyway. Unless he just happens to station top pairs also.
So to me question is if we want to donk shove river that won't change board in river why not go for check-shove on turn?
We could x/jam turn.... but against an aggro/maniac Villain I would prefer the rope-a-dope, like you did. I would be hoping for a river bet from him too and plan to x/r but I think this bluffy-looking river-bet I mentioned could make him "hero call". Looks so cool like a busted draw on this board, looks sooo "fishy" :f_ugly:, we could make Villain hero-call while I don´t know if he hero-calls a x/jam on the turn if he holds a K or a pp or a draw (with which he draws dead). With this "fishy" river-donk-bet, we still could make something like a king, an overpair, a set, two pair or something call while I don´t think those hands call a jam on turn?
By the way: Do we have a x/jam-turn-bluffing-range???
Kind of annoying hands from today:
In this one I defended pre, decided to check flop but bet would have been good also. Called turn and then villain bets river. Its bit weird looking line as basically he shouldnt have that many Ax really as those should often check again for showdown value if checking flop. Well nasty to make hero call and see such hand imo. There is very very few better hand than A5 that I would fold on turn versus single bet.

Next one was actually in 50€ mtt. not great spot pre to be honest with 77. I minraise, BB 3bets and we have around 30bb with antes in play. Cant call for set mine obviosly and 77 suck in postflop playability so its more of fold or 4bet shove for me. Decided to shove as fold feels weak also (maybe best of bad options?), villain snaps with A4s and flops A ![]()

Well in the end nicely over 200€ profit from short session.
Plan was to go to see summer theater today but as we didnt buy tickets beforehand it was already sold out. Then decided to go watch new spiderman movie in theater which started nicely. Movie had quite ok twist compared to usual marvel movies.
After that to home via shop where we bought 5kg of strawberries and after getting those to freezer it was already 10PM.

Depends. Sometimes I would play some of hands like Ad2h as check-shove. Because hand doesnt have that much showdown value but still ton of equity even if called.
