Rake is also higher. Good player should be happy to get +10bb/100 winrate. Of course in really easy environments you can get higher, and in some tougher environments you might get 5bb/100.
I'd like to attend as much live sessions as possible... Any chance of us completing this group and starting the coaching somewhere in this week or in the next one?
Otherwise, I'd rather joining one of the future/next groups.
Looks like we have 3 already, so we need one more! Assuming all the interested members are still joining. Let's see if we can find one more!
Still in.
When do the lessons normally take place? So which weekday etc. Might be interesting to know.
They will be scheduled so that everyone can attend. Of course this means that even if we get 4 participants, the group might not start if everyone is in different timezones.
How much "truth" there is in here? https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/ciksc6/when_your_friends_convince_you_to_play_plo/

Well, I'm interested in this, but I don't have much time to play and study right now. Probably in a couple of months... will keep an eye out on the forum!
I played up to PLO25 about 5 years ago and have been away from poker since, but I'm back at it now and need to learn things again

That's fine, qkj.
In the meantime, from which resources have you started your study?
I used to read/watch a lot of PS content, but since I have come back, and I'm still unsure which part of that content still is relevant and which part is outdated...

i have found all of Hwang online for free (pm for link, but i think you can google it easily) and it is really readable.
also once i finally got my strategy points from pokerstars - video section is quite rich: https://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/?query=&content_type=0&game_type=4&table_size=0&language%5B%5D=en&submit=Search
Hwang has some nice thoughts, but overall his background is in full ring nut peddling. The book about "LAG" style is decent, although it's just normal "TAG" style in modern PLO.

some time has passed since it was published, but i guess the fundamentals still stay. when one absorbs them, he can think about what adjustments to make to apply that to plo2 zoom...
i also sent him plo from scratch, so you can review that as well
PLO from Scratch is a LOT better than Hwang's books. I wouldn't recommend Hwang to anyone, you have better stuff free online nowadays.

Everyone who would be ready to start in 1-2 weeks, could you post a confirm in this thread? Let's see if we can arrange something.
I can't confirm yet. I may be travelling to the US, for a couple of weeks, and that would mess with all my plans to study/play poker :-/
BTW, in which TZ are you all? I'm in BRST.
