These are of course always hard for outsider to give opinion. So villain is good or at least ok, tricky reg. Preflop we are 18.5bb deep so I went for open limp. If minraising and facing shove it would have to be called but dont necessarily want to get into that spot. Though I suppose limping and facing shove is even bit more nasty. But obviously we can easily call if BB make small raise.

Flop I went for bet-call. I dont think bet-shove would be absurd but at same time when we get called its not super clear how good we do versus calling range. By calling I will keep villain range wider.

Turn is sort of interesting because it does complete gutshot like 8T and flush draws. KT if not raised pre I would assume to just call flop. I was and would most of time bet turn but decided to check in the end. River is obviously bad and snap check when that was offered.

Well I feel we kind of need to value bet and protect turn but what I was thinking was that if villain did check-raise flop with hand like Q7o etc. I think he might even fold this turn. Sure he could have Q9, Q3, 39 which probably would call and stack off blank rivers still.

PS: My hand is Q♦:J♦: for clarification. Board is Q♣:9♠:3♠:J♠:K♠:

Seems well played to keep the pot small with this run out, but I wouldn't mind to make a thin value and protection bet on the turn with 2 pair on a wet board like this.

Cheers,

if he defends wide I would raise for value if he diesnr 3bet to much. flop is finde and turn i would barrel. On the river I would pull the trigger and shove the rest.

Sure he defends wide. I don't mind minraise either but we have to call versus shove then.

I don't think villain will check turn with staight but he can definitely have some flushes. Because if he never have them his range will be vulnerable and well he knows I am capable of big bluffs.

Pot is 1.6k on turn with bit over 3k behind. I can bet like 900 and call shove but that would actually be bit nasty. I mean check-raise flop and check-raise turn after such turn card would be really strong. Also bet-folding top two in HU with good pot odds... Awkward at least. So didn't want to get into that spot and if he folds good amount of Qx to turn bet plan to bet turn, bet river start to look pretty thin imo.

River bet make no sense really. Too strong hand to bluff. Some A9, 89 would be fine for it. Though I would go for less than shove as then I can rep few more flushes. If I shove I will say to have As or Qs.

sure if you raise pre and get raised you have to stack off. The question on the river I would aks myself is: How many better hands will fold? I think on a mono board you will fold out all baby flushes. You will get value from weird k or q without a flush and worse 2 pair. Thus if you switch to his view of the hand. How many hands on the river will have you beat on a mono board? Pretty much just his slowplays. This is a super ugly spot for him most of the time. That's exactly what I want.

Not sure what your aim is. You say that bet will fold out small flushes and yet get value from Kx, Qx or two pairs?

If we want to get small flushes to fold sizing needs to be on bigger side. If we want to try to value bet sizing needs to be on small side. Not sure if villain would call two pair versus small bet anyway.

I like betting small on Turn and fold vs. raise. Qx calls vs. a small Turn bet. But if we bet to big then villain would fold probably some Qx combos.

well I like betting on the big side and getting it in on the river as a bluff. My aim is to fold out most of his range due to this runout.

Than you expect he's capable to fold Q♠: or a T♠:if you would stack off the river.

well, I think there are not to likely because of the card removal effects and the way this hand plays out. If we barrel this runout 3x tell me you have an easy call with a Ts on the river? Most of his range will fold turn or river imo.

Are you really playing like this?

CptJokerFish nailed it the first time.
It can be a meh bet/call vs certain Villains but I wouldn't worry about that without reads.
And iff Maniac isn't trolling, then barreling river after the turn barrel is just spew, it literally doesn't accomplish anything.

Yeah small turn bet is fine and probably bet-fold though I don't love that with pretty shallow stacks. So I don't mind check either as we can value bet good amount of rivers or call versus bet.

Anyway villain here had this time Q♠:4♠: and I like his line as he can protect his weaker part of made hands by checking turn and river. Though flop check-call is nice with such hand also. In river main part of my call versus bet range will be flushes so by checking he might lose some value versus absolutely weakest flushes which are limited to some Qx. If I have decent flush I will value bet with it and he can go for check-raise with second nuts. Plus I have option to turn those weaker made hands like A9 into bluff.
