Hi guys!
Today afternoon was live play day and I played a hand which left me thinking.
Had been on the table for 20/30 min, 9 handed, NL200. From the few hands I saw, no big fishes.
I picked up A♦:Q♠: from MP1, my stack was around 100bb, opened to 3.5bb everyone folded and BB called with a similar stack size.
Flop comes: Q♥:K♠:A♣:, he check/calls my cbet of about 2.5bb on a 7.5bb pot (3.5+3.5+0.5). Standard I would say.
Turn comes the Q♦: and I decided to continue with a 6bb bet on a 12.5bb pot (7.5+2.5+2.5). He check/called again.
River comes the K♣:.
He checks again. I kind of didn't know what to do here. My perceived range is so strong that I don't think there is much worse he will call with. I also don't think a Kx full will check/raise the river when he loses to AA, AK, QQ, KK (which he would block).
I decided to check-back and he showed A♥:J♣:.
Do you think there is merit in betting the river? If so, what size?
Thank you.
