The problem for me is that I suck at estimating my equity correctly.<sigh>

I think when thinking of call or raise good things to ask are:
- Do I have fold equity?
-Is it good or bad if third player stay in pot?
-What sort of turn decision are going to be if first villain betting call or fold?
In general if you assume no or just tiny bit fold equity being aggro with draw is less good. Though of course in omaha combo draw can have shitload of equity so not sure if that is case. If you are drawing to nuts then other players staying in the pot is probably good for you overall as they might not have much equity. Third player coming into pot will make your drawing more profitable then. If flop call bring nasty SPR for turn to continue versus aggression then that might be good reason to be aggro.
One positive side of just call if we can continue on blank turns versus aggression is that we can probably fold board pairing turn. At least if it wont give us trips.
Final table with four cards and "da pot" ![]()
Work done, so I rewarded myself with a nice MTT evening. And picked up four cards. Played also Holdem but only got a little cash. The nice winning comes from PLO today! Played the 400€ Gtd. Deep Space Omaha for 3€ on Unibet. Because the Holdem-god was not so nice to me, the PLO god made all up. Alread at the beginning of the tourney I could nicely build my stack:
With a nut str8 for example:
I played patiently and mostly TAG, my strategy was patience, patience and value bet, value bet. Those who were on the PLO-Primetime coaching know that without a HUD you need a clear and solid strategy. So I could get some nice pots and sometimes even with bluffs.
Here´s a bluff with blocker:
Shortly before the FT I made a good hero-call vs maniac and could almost double up my stack.
At the FT I was pretty card dead and became shorty. Then the hand of the day happened (I post that hand in the Hand of the day thread)
I could double up twice at the FT while some big stacks donked their stack away so I could ladder up a bit.
awesome Prim:f_drink: sounds like my tactic in those Tourney. Patience and aggression

Well in two card poker my strategy is as follows:
just click buttons until everyone folds or you lose all of your money!
Gosh Primrose6789, that is a terrible smile.
Congratulations on de result, glad to see you do well.
But I thought it were the PLO and NLH puppies, not Gods that influenced the Random Number Generator.
Why am I even here, the 4 card wizardry is way above my competences.

Exactly this. The tourneys on Unibet are very soft and in low limits just classical ABC-poker is enough. ♠_smile:

This would be my strategy with five or more cards.
Just a little MTT
Played a little PLO-MTT today, was the 0,65 € Omaha Zenith Nano on Unibet, that one was just there when I had time to play MTT. ♠_smile: Missed the 400€ Deep space Omaha due to tennis practice.
My todays PLO-story is quickly told. Totally card-dead, then could get a pot with the overfull. Then card-dead forever until I picked up A♣ A♠ 7♠ 7♦. Raised the pot after 5 limpers. Had to jam flop which was 3-K-3r. I was pretty short stack so had to jam anyway. Of course somebody had made some random hand with 3TTK and so out I was.
Well...that´s the way it went.
the 5468 bluff hand can you explain what blocker do you have because i dont understand omaha at all.
Ah. I get it now. It is not straight that you are blocking, it's the runner runner flush! 4♥:
Not much luck with four cards today
Played the PLO Shooting star bounty (1€) on Unibet as well as a 4.40 $ PLO8-MTT on Party. Yes, I deposited a small amount on Party for the Monster Series which I would like to play. My todays story with four cards is quickly told: card-dead, card-dead, card-dead and busting out with Acies from the PLO Shooting star. Same in PLO8: totally missed flops and crappy hands. Could survive about 2 and a half hours in PLO8 and then got it in on flop with a str8-flush-combo-draw on a hi-only flop. Didn´t get there and out I was.
Sucks that I can´t show HHs, but PT4 doesn´t work on Party and Unibet.
you play too tight in omaha tournaments.
even I know that.
never too far behind preflop and when get lucky just dominate the table.
Monster Series special!
What would be a Monster Series without four cards? Let´s rock the PLO8-tables!

Today is my last day of the Monster Series and decided to end my Monster Series with four cards! ![]()
Todays schedule: PLO8
8:30 p.m: 1.10 $ PLO8 500 $ Gtd.
8:30 p.m: 0,11 $ PLO8 100 $ Gtd.

With that game face, people will fold a lot
I do not think that people fold a lot in low buy-in tourneys on Partypoker, but they will pay a lot when you hold the nuts.
That defines already my strategy-plans: beeing patient and mostly value betting, besides looking for good spots to bluff once in a while.
