So UTG limp, CO raise and I decided to just call with no reads. Have blocker versus AAxx but readless 3bet would be pretty spewy? Also no suits so my hand is not really that good.

We get 3way on flop and CO cbet half pot. Should I just call or does potting and stacking off make sense? Well my logic was that my hand is often best one so raising for protection could make sense. Only one A remaining and KK will block AK from villain. But if he happen to have e.g. A5xx I am drawing for two outs. 55xx probably less likely than A5 though. Kind of nasty to call also because then my hand equity will just decrease and weaker Axxx or flush draw get cheap chance to suck out.

I would have flatted in position too.

Just raising the flop here would tell if villain had ace too. If villain has ace then he's stepladdering and stacks are in without villain having a FD or 5.

That's what methinks :f_drink:

I would get it in on the flop with top-kicker. Against :Ax::5x:xx it is a cooler. If you play this hand passively with trips it may be better to fold or 3-bet it preflop cause you will not hit a safe :Kx: often enough.
