Before you say anything.
Tell me. Why would online poker rooms give players to win/withdraw more money than they have raked ?
Seems like huge lost for poker rooms, if they would really let to do so.
How they make money ? From rake ?
If the players start to win and withdraw more money than they have raked, poker sites would bankrupt.
What you can say of this ?
Thank you.

You realize that poker players are not playing against the poker room, but against other players, right?

They earn money with rake indeed and winning players gets money of losing players on the long run. Off course poker rooms could end up in trouble if everyone would withdraw all the money they have, but that isn't happen most likely.

It is mathematically and logically impossible for all poker players to win more money than they have deposited. It's only possible for a fraction of a players to win more money than they have deposited. The majority of poker players lose long term to the rake and to other players. Only a smaller player fraction win more money.

Is it possible for every football team to win their games? No. It's mathematically and logically impossible for every football team to win their games. That is what you suggested in your post.

My advice to you is don't invest any of your money for online poker until you have studied basic poker strategy courses .

OK. Let me make myself clear.
I play online poker for 11 years, making a living out of it 1 year.
Playing multiple sites, micro to low cash games and micro tournament.
I have hard time to make so. Every day 4+hours of grinding. No day-offs.
I can pay my bills, have enough food, rent 1 room appartament. But thats it. No luxuries.

I still however think they are RIGGED. Not like that you cant make a profit out of them, but RIGGED TO A LIMIT.
Ever wonder why they give so big welcome bonuses, like the casino sites do ?
Like i sayd, yes you can make a profit from online poker, but i really think that they are rigged so that there is always a cap limit of how much one can win and withdraw money, depending of how much rake they have been raked.

And this is something that i just suspect, this doesnt mean that it is like that, and even if it is, then it doesnt make much difference for me or other winning players, other than that we could possibly earn more profit in the long term.

I just try to be as realistic one could be.
Thank you.

When players win money, they win it from other players, not from the site.

If there was no rake, it would be possible for every player to break even in the long run, since the odds are the same for everyone, and the distribution is the same for everyone.

But there is rake, so to be a profitable player, it is necessary to win more than 50% of the time.

The site does not care who wins or who loses
This is important -- the site gets their percentage regardless.

Best wishes for a peaceful, prosperous 2020,

why not? Like sites making anonimous tables or Party Poker had some restrictions to regs - they care that fish would win more, at least some of them, to keep the fish in the game.

Just because the tables are anonymous doesn't mean that weak players will win more.
They just won't know who they are losing to.

I'm very concerned that taking away the ability to track play was done at least partly to make it hard for people to detect when they are losing too much, therefore making it that much harder for people with a gambling problem to recognize when they've gone too far.

Consider that a player will have a win rate, averaged over time.
Unless they study the game, and make more correct decisions than incorrect ones, they will be a losing player, and will always be a losing player and the longer they play, the more they will lose.

The anonymous tables, and the inability to track players is done mainly so winning players cannot target known losing players, but let's face it -- the losing players make themselves very obvious very quickly.

The ultimate goal for a poker room would that everyone is a losing player -- and this is quite possible if everyone is "barely break even".

Just watch a high-stakes 2-7 triple draw heads up game on PokerStars -- say $5/$10
Note the stack sizes.
A half hour later check them again.
If you total the first two and then total the second two, you'll find that they've both lost in total -- even if one of them is ahead, there is huge amount gone from the table.

When I started at PokerStrategy.com they had beginning players sit down with 20BB stacks, and play a mathematically derived strategy, and over the course of a couple of hours you could win 5 or 10 bucks playing NL 2 this way -- and do so fairly consistently. A few months after I joined, the 20BB lower limit was raised.

Why? Because you can't beat math.

You still can't, but it is harder to spot the situation where the odds are in your favour.

May the odds be ever in your favour!
