Do you ever check back ip with draws ?
I find myself never doing so. I always c-bet,bet,semibluff when opponent checked and i have draw.
And it is working form me, long time profit.
But i am just curious, could check back and playing slowly your draws by taking free card, would ever be profitable play in the long run ?
Do you ever have to consider that move in certain spots ? Or is this something you should not be thinking?

Doing so denies him the opportunity to check/raise
Another thing to consider is what villain type your playing if they don't fold then you might be better off taking the free card.The main reason for semi bluffing your draws is fold equity so the less fold equity you have the less reason you have to semi bluff with your draw.It's also nice to have a few draws and stronger hands in your checking range vs regs as well imo to protect and disguise your range and make it harder to read what you have in any given spot.
Another factor is whether the pot is multi-way or heads-up.
If you hit your draw with the nuts, you are more likely to get paid off by a weaker flush multi-way.
OTOH, if you don't have the nuts, the chances of having an opponent beat you grows.
In HU situations very rarely,againts maniacs mainly who like check raiseing a lot I would prefer checking with a not nut 8-9 out draw. Same in MW pots on connected textures without the nut FD it is better to check it back I think. With nut draws I would always bet in both of these situations because most of the later street value will come when we both hit the draw both we are ahead with the better hand.
You might also benefit from betting a flush draw like 98s on some board textures as it has basically no showdown value unimproved.Where as an Axs flush draw does have some showdown value unimproved so could make a good check back in some spots.

the EV is usually the same in both lines.
This is a cheap way to get stacks of a good lag...
Checking back a draw against a good lag makes him think you don’t have the draw. When the draw hits, the lag thinks you can’t call a big bet so you can often get him to bet then raise jam with air
