Patience will be key than, but 2 buy-inns isn't enough or you will be lucky when you try it.

Hopefully it will bust before 09:00 local so I don't have to buy in again

Dang!
I nearly forgot to play this morning!
As it turns out, I nailed trips, so I get 25 coins (18 stars coin net increase.)

Just missed a full house -- 500 stars coin

How do you check if someone had a JP attempt?

Good -- there typically have been two or three fails shortly before a winning attempt.
Since I started playing on the 16th, the JP has been climbing by about $255 per hour

If you have the pokerstars client open, then you get a pop-up so you can watch the jackpot spin.

If you have pokerstars closed, then there is no way that I know of.

Best of luck,

Thanks Vorpal,

I probably have the pop-up blocked within the software (if it's blockable). I do not like distractors and have been blocking all of this kind pop-up's :f_drink:

So I 100% rely on your info that you post here :f_cool:

by the way, is your name related to "canes venatici" the constellation "The hunting dogs"?

If so, way cool I wish I had thought of that

Yes it is and you are the first person ever to realise that :f_drink:

So I opened a chest and got couple of stars coins. Fingers crossed for someone to win a JP shortly... or me winning it when I play :f_cool:

The highest the jackpot ever got (since I've been recording them) is 456,000
That took six months (196 days), and the jackpot climbed ~2200 per day,
At an average cost of 4.6 coins per play (9.2 per day) it would cost 1800 chips to play from 0

The jackpot is currently climbing 6240 per day on average.
From its current position to reach 500,000 would take 37 days.
At an average cost of 9.2 coins per day, that would mean a cost of 336 coins.

I sure hope it drops soon!

That's interesting to know. It would be a nice 'Blue Monday' gift for everyone if he will fall today.

Well shortly after sleeeep posted (20:14 UTC) I received an email saying I had won a prize in the deal of $10.10
In all I spent 48 coin to receive $10.10 so a return of $0.21 per coin.

Not the highest I've ever received, but not too bad.
My average since Aug 2017 until now has been $0.07 earned per coin spent.
The highest was $3.06 (I spent total of 1 coin and got a $3.06 payout)
The poorest return was in the early days when I was playing right from the start, and only $0.025 per coin.

So now we wait for the next opportunity.

I missed a few recently, where I waited too long before I started to play, but overall, I still think that it is worth waiting until the JP is > 200K
