KQ vs AA

Hi Guys, wonder your opinion about the line in here.

Think the villain made a bit of a mistake not C-betting the flop and allowing for a free card.

Honestly I would fold to a reasonable size Cbet. After this hand I started to wonder if an allin or at least re-raise wouldn't be a better play on the river, as looking at the villain betting I doubt AK was an option here...

I would play the same, preflop and flop, but I think you have a mandatory raise on the turn. You have the nuts but it's not safe. He could have a hand that pays you (and otherwise there won't be much value anyway).

River is a call for me (too). flushdraw gets there, AK gets there. By raising you only get calls from hands that beat you, imo.

I pretty much agree with whats been said already although i don't mind the turn call especially with the Kc we can either call or raise on the river depending on the run out and action.But we should probably be mostly raising the turn with a somewhat vulnerable straight.And there are also a lot of scare cards for villain on the river should they have a hand like AA that kills any further action.

Would it be reasonable to assume villain PreFlop Range: 22+,A2s+,K5s+,Q8s+,JTs,A2o+,K8o+,QTo+ ?

Took it from Equilab 3BET vs PFR for SB (there is no BB).

It's also interesting to know what kind of stats you have posted here.
I would also start with a stack off at least 100bb.

The hand seems well played. You could think of raising turn, but that's it ansd sometimes I would fold on a 3bet pre-flop. Especially if villain is tight.

It's a good point SDK1987 makes about folding pre sometimes for a few reasons,firstly a 3bet range vs an iso raise should be more value heavy than usual.And given a standard sizing a 3bet vs an iso raise will see our odds on a call decrease if this were 4x.But villain in this case 3bets to 3x vs our iso oop so i think it's one of the spots it's ok to call ip to see a flop.
