Think you played alright yeah, this villain seems like a total loon.

If I were you I’d limp a hand like this if a guy like that had position on me. Limping anytime aggressive players have position on you is a great way to control the size of the pot.

If the villain always bets weak, let them bet.

Not sure why you would lead the turn when he was the aggressor on the flop. Now you are off course prized in to call with your straight draw. Otherwise you even need to fold against a min raise of him.

You lead the turn primarily to prevent him getting a free card on the draw heavy board.

You don’t want to fold to the min raise. Implied odds on the straight cover the cost of the call. We could also get a free river and see him show up with a missed draw, this could could still have just AK!

He bet 0.02 on the flop do you guys still consider that an aggressor? I interpreted it as a check or something

My thoughts on the turn bet were also to see if I could get him to fold out some stuff his 2cent bet on the flop I took as a check so I didn’t put Him on a pair on the flop 100% of the time, maybe my hand could look like a Jack and get him to fold an 8 sometimes? If that didn’t work at least we have 8 outs for a straight and 2 more for a set, we don’t know if they will be good all the time , what do you guys think about his raise on the turn ? What is he representing?

I really don’t know lol... He could have just about any hand.

My best guess is a single pair hand like 99 but he’s also likely to show up with QJ or something like that.

He could have picked up a draw on the turn, or a 5 on the turn. Or he could have had the nuts all along.

I’m not sure if by “isolate” you mean min-raise 3bet. If he’s been doing this with K9o then he could easily have air here. His raise on the turn could just be a lame shot at the pot.

why dont u play with full 100bb stack ? i think its important especially with hands like small to medium PP

I like to start smaller and grind up my stack at the table, that way if I lose an all-in I felt like I just lost the minimum + my profit at the table. It also helps me keep track of my losses. I want to play live at casino soon and I like starting a bit shorter,sometimes players at the table have a hard time adjusting to my play-style and you people it can be easy to double up with Top-pair type hands idk I know in theory if you can win more with more at the table but Im not a pro yet still just trying to be a solid winning player.

So, he had a set... Time to write those notes:

Min raise preflop = mediocre hand.
Min raise postflop = Nuts.
Min bet flop = Nuts

Now we know he does this with the nuts you can take those from his range when he makes bigger bets.
