That seems to be a natural flop to CBet, and since you didn't he could very well hold a K and simply have checked to the raiser.
A half-pot CBet won't hurt your stack much if he x/r you for example -- and if he doesn't have a king the pot is yours right then.

OTOH, if he has no king, I'm thinking he's thinking: Well clearly CO has no K, so I might as well try to steal the pot.

Yes you are right, I usually cbet like 90% of my hands which is probably why I checked in this situation but looking at it a cbet would save me headaches. I tend to notice that people float as well way more these days when you cbet. I will need to look at his stats

When you check the flop you can take TP+ from your perceived range. When the villain ob jams against an opponent who doesn’t have anything strong in his range, it’s obviously a bluff.

Only problem is I steal a lot I do find if I cbet all of my steals I dont hit it will be expensive in the long run

Expensive for the villains, that Cbet will make you money. This board is very dry so your Cbet bluff will make more than it usually would.

Before stealing it is good to check how often they fold to cbets rather than making that blanket statement. Many people fold loads making it an easy Cbet, others very rarely.

In this example the check back on the flop is fine. I prefer this play to the Cbet. If he checks the turn you can take down the pot. You have pretty good showdown value too. And you could always improve and then he could make a silly ob jam bluff.

Cbet would be standard indeed. As played his shove makes no sense at all on the turn. I expect he would bbet around half pot if he has a strong hand. Off course defending out of position with a 13bb stack isn't a great move ether for a good player with big antes in play. I would push or fold with a 13bb stack in the BB.

That makes it really tough to know if he's shoving this for value or as bluff. I expect a passive villain will never bluff and than it's a easy fold, but if he's a thinking player I would most likely call.
