I was wrong about players receiving 0 for not making the minimum rakeback chest. If players don't make the minimum chest the points they have are cashed in at 10%.

You didn't expect them to give up $300 to everyone for little work now did you?

Well - but calling it easy missions is not a bluff - is a simple lie :-). I need one more to finish but can't play bounty today - have to find somebody to run 3 times and win it - propably I have more chance to hit jackpot (3x in last 26 days -I hit it - omaha, shortdeck and AoF). Anyway gl to all and see U on tables - I need your chips guys ;-)

You're right it's not easy :) - we are looking into getting the phrase removed. You'll see it does not say 'easy' on the actual website, but is on some other areas. Let's say some are easier than others :f_grin:

Hey GGPokerCasey. I am crossposting this because you may probably answer the question from first hand.

Some players might play on more than one site at the same time, in icho90's case, he could be using a HUD (Poker Tracker or Holdem Manager) for sites other than Natural8. Only these two HUD are allowed to be running while playing on Natural8 as they are not compatible with our system. HUD other than PT and HM is strictly prohibited.

I hope this clears up any concerns you may have, feel free to ask me if you have any further questions.

ok i understand. does this also apply for GGpoker? Since i thought there were cases when people got a warning for just having PT4/HM open while also having N8 oder GGpoker open.

This absolutely applies to GGPoker - HUD's are strictly prohibited.

I will specify it because i think you didn't understand the question completely.
I know HUDs are not allowed on GG.

But is it okay to have PT4/HM2 open and running (for the use on other pokersites) while also playing on GG (where there is no HUD running)?

hey casey,

any rake/fish buffet system changes on GG I missed when it comes to PLO cashgames? I play PLO50 on a regular basis and normally I need like 2days to get a crab reward of 5k points. today I reached the bronze octopus for 15k points in like 3 days. confusing me so maybe there was a change?

Hey.

FB points are accumulated at a dynamic rate. Some sessions you'll rack them up quicker than others based on a host of factors.

The way Fish Points are earned and the manner in which wheel spins function were both changed in tandem. Here’s a brief explanation of the change:
- Previously, players earned Fish Points at a fixed rate of $0.01 per 1 FP, and the wheel spin’s chance of hitting each segment was unequal for all players.
- Currently, the rate at which players earn Fish Points is unequal for all players, but the chance of hitting each segment is equal.
- The actual financial impact for players as a result of this change is negligible, as the earn rate change corresponds closely to the percentages previously applied to higher wheel segments.
So, how does it actually work now?
The amount of rake paid by all players is identical. However, the amount of Fish Points earned on rake paid is variable. You can earn Fish Points faster than 1FP per 1c rake, or slower, depending on your ‘NET rake’. ‘NET rake’ is the amount of rake attributed directly to you for the purpose of promotions only, and is influenced by a variety of factors, including behavior at the tables, net depositor status and your overall history at that game type.
The impact of the changes is that if you’re really killing it in a certain game, you’re probably earning points slower but hitting bigger prizes more often.
Players need to work out themselves their own rate, as it is dynamic, and we cannot provide any further information on any individual NET rake figures. The amount of points earned for a leaderboard can now be different from the amount of Fish Points earned; we should have been clearer about this change at the time of deployment, as it seems many players are confused.

Sometimes I get disconnected/kicked out of the tables for no reason at all. I used to think it's because of my connection but this happened to several friends also. And it's not like a normal disconnection. I'm playing for 2 hours and then the app just clitches and I get insta dropped from all the tables. Luckily it never happened in a pot, but my friend lost a big one because of that. Obviously can't keep playing under those conditions. Hope it gets fixed soon.

@throwaway1122: +1

@GGPokerCasey Im glad GGpoker exists as it is a good alternative to pokerstars. But this sort of intransparency is shady business. none of this is communicated anywhere, no details are known how anything is impacted on earning more or less fishpoints.

what is left is the feeling that since i can not measure how much rake I pay in USD I have to guess by earning fishpoints. And that feels like rake has doubled secretly to me.

Can somebody explain exactly what is Spin Insurance?
What is the difference between playing Spin and Gold with and without insurance?

And if there is no extra cost for playing with insurance why would I want to ever play without it?
I couldn't find a good explanation anywhere and I'm puzzled of how vague the explanation is in the GG software.

Thanks!

Hi krugger3000,
Yes you can play from Canada -- I do.

The best way to create an account -- and get the bonus offers -- is to sign up by following the instructions here:

Sure!

If you buy insurance it costs you the buy-in. For arguments sake you play a $1.

The insurance kicks in if you spin a x2 multiplier ($2) so it means you get your buy-in back and keep any winnings from the game.

If you buy the insurance and you spin a x3 or greater you lose the insurance money.

Thanks for the info! Regarding the requirements I was talking about account verification procedures or anything like that. I will be there on tourist visa for 5 months so I most likely won't have much official papers with my name on it.

edit : and is there something like pokercraft for spin & gold ? Most importantly : ev chips graph. I can live without hud or tracker but being able to follow profitability is very important to me. Would be awesome if it was divided into different multipliers since every chip won with 200 starting stack isn't worth the same $ than a chip won with 500 starting stack.

I cannot say whether or not a tourist visa would allow you to play, but GGPoker support sure would know.

No. The usual suspects: USA, Portugal, Italy, Spain, France are not allowed.
