Good fold IMO
At NL2 I think check/raise means "I got it! I got it! Oh look Martha I got a full house on the turn!"

Worth taking a note though.

Is this a spot where the rule, "If you're going to fold the river, then fold the turn first" would apply?

I'm curious to see what others think though...

The board is not favorable for your UTG range, so that flop is a check sometimes.
Turn is meh. I don't like your size. You can fold to the turn min-raise, that's the nuts right there. It's not a weird check/raise by the way.
River fold.

Useful stats here are agg and rise (after flop) too. If he has low agg and 0 rise. It was definitely good fold. Generally at 2NL players rarely use rise(no regs) and check-rise, but if they do, it mean very usually strong hand. Sometimes you can to meet fish which has low W$SD% and gight agg, he often blefs.

On the flop, with a pair, rainbow, a check/raise is also good to extract value
If villain call, Turn is an easy check. C-bet is also accepted but i would prefer 30-33% potsize.
Turn is bad to you. A check/call and fold to a bet on the river.
As played, i would fold to the mini raise on the Turn.
