Hi I am spending quite time lately to modify my preflop ranges and today I constructed them excluding flatting vs open raises, except from the BB, and excluding calling vs 3b OOP. It should reduce the rake a lot and improve the realized Equity eliminating the positional advantage a lot too. :)
Cheers. I probably should try something like that post flop oop, to x/r or fold only:)

Hey,
I'm new here, congrats on your blog!

So, you'll be playing 3b or fold from every position except BB?
I can see that reduces rake since you'll see fewer flops, but at the same time, let's say you're in the BU and a fishy player in the BB. MP opens and you have one of those hands who like to see flops. Don't you try to bring the fishy player along by just calling?

Theoretically if you calls you have only 1 way to win, and if you raises you have 2 ways to win! Besides these days they are many squeeze happy players and with calling most of the time you cannot continue vs squeeze capping yourself!
OOP you have positional disadvantage unless you are the aggressor;).
In some occasions with info for the players behind you can make calls with higher EV and you should adjust your range vs the original aggressor! For example you cannot attack or defend same way vs PFR 5, PFR 15 and PFR 25, the worst are the NITs, because there nity ranges dominates you! You can defend by GTO vs everyone, but the BIT, because he will simply REKT you!
I did cc yesterday KK from bu vs 6/1 for 300 hands EP and fold to cbet on Axx for example!

I get what you mean. However don't have a strong opinion on it yet. Need to study more.
Either way, I vote to see the BU range :f_biggrin:

On the AQ hand, if SB bets any street you fold or can you find a call?
