At about 16:45 UTC today my connection failed to 888, and when I try to log in it tells me my internet connection is down, which it isn't, because everything else is working fine.

Let me know...

I confirm that it's very difficult to log in now (all products). Even when I managed to log in, I couldn't access Cashier. Just chatted with a live agent, she told me it's a global technical issue and they are working on it.

Hi janmatheij,
This happens to me as well, but it cannot be happening to everyone, because when I open 888 all the tournaments showing as "late registration" had players, and the number of players goes up

I did notice that they will be doing server maintenance at 05:55 UTC tomorrow, so hopefully they'll fix it.

All the best,
VS

When I went to supper, I shut down my computer completely.
Then I unplugged our Ethernet router for about two minutes.
Then I plugged it in again.
After supper, when I powered on my computer, the login box came up immediately, and I was able to log in successfully.

Cheers,

I thought that this was fixed, but it appears the problem still exists.
At this time, I have just installed the 888 update, but although everything else seems to be working fine I cannot log in.

When I open the main lobby, all the fields fill in -- the promo section, the jackpot section, and all the current tournaments.
The number of registered players increases.
I can open lobbies, but I cannot observe tables.

I am going to once again email support.

Nope all been working fine last week and this week. Maybe a few lags due to the high number of players atm.

I wonder if the high number of players is what is causing the problem.
I rebooted my cable modem last night again, but it had no effect this time -- I still cannot log in.

I completely uninstalled 888 from my computer, downloaded the client from their website, and re-installed.
It's working ....

(for now)

If that was the case your files might have been altered... I would consider reinstalling your operating system -> Firewall -> Sandbox -> Poker.

Hi sHane666,
I posted that on the 24th of April, and although I successfully logged in -- that was the last time.

The next day I contacted 888 support, and yesterday I received the following:

Please clear your cookies and cache memory and then you can login again.

I cleared the cache and cookies on Firefox and Chrome and for good measure I cleared Edge and IE 11 as well, since I have no idea which cache 888 uses.

I was able to log in instantly.

Another thing I learned is that Ctrl-Shift-Del brings up the clear history dialogue in all 4 browsers.
How could I have never known this before?

And now I know for next time...

Well that was fun while it lasted.

Today once again I got the "oops something went wrong" message.

I'll clear my cache once again to see if I can log in, but I clearly can't do this once a day.

Sorry guys but Although the client works fine for the majority there are others who have ongoing login issues.
There sems to be a lot of Canadian players who are having the issue.
Please mail support at support@888poker.com and they will advise you.
You can also try the browser Instant play no download version where you can find the link on the home page. Click on Play Now https://www.888poker.com/desktop/no-download/

I'll keep trying.
I was instructed to clear the cache and cookies by 888 support, and when I did so, I was able to log in immediately.
The next day, though I could not.

I cannot log in to the casino site, and I also cannot log in to the no-download site.

Oddly, if I use my phone on mobile data, I can log in -- whereas on wifi I cannot.

I'm sure it will eventually get sorted out.

Just out of curiosity, can any Canadians log in successfully?
If so, is there any correlation between their ISPs and their ability to log in?

Cheers,
VS

Hi 888Rep,
I am Meroveus on 888 and I'm in exactly the same situation.
I'm in Canada -- in BC

@janmatheij -- is Shaw your ISP?
I recently went through a bunch of things with them, and they asked if anyone else with Shaw was having the same trouble with 888

@888Rep -- I recently emailed your support a collection of DNS queries that showed that using a UK based DNS server gave a different address than using either Google's, Cloudflare's or shaw's servers.

I am available to work with your techs to solve this.

All the best,
VS
