I am wondering, is there any possibility that playing 70 Coins instead of 7 Coins actually returns a better ROI considering better payout percentages / chances of jackpot round? Did anyone work this out and is it actually possible to work it out since we do not seem to know what is the improved chances of actually playing 70 instead of 7 coins?

How many coins do you have?
In the current cycle I have played 13 times, so I would expect to lose 91 coins
I hit a few pairs, and a few A-high hands, so I've only spent 77 coins so far.
When you play 70 coins, there is no A-high payout, but the others are in proportion.
If someone wins the jackpot in the next 2 hours, I will win around $6.00 payouts have been higher recently, so let's say I win 7.70
So I win $0.10 per coin.
If I had been paying 70 coins per try, I would have spent 770 coins to win 7.70
Since that is exactly 1¢ per coin, I might as well just go to the reward store and convert my starscoin to cash, because that is exactly what you get 1¢ per coin.
The "share of pot" prize is 1/2 the jackpot divided by the number of people playing.
The prize is the same size whether you spend 7 or 70 per try.

Have around 2k coins... it's just that I hit full house and got 500 coins and was wondering how it would have been 75d if I was playing 70 coins instead 
What I was wondering though, is it more likely to hit jackpot and/or get better hands if you play 70 coins or is the only difference the payouts table?

As far as I know, the only difference is the payout table. The game is supposed to play out the same no matter how much you bet. Whether it actually is... can't say, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
The main reason why it makes sense to play with 7 coins instead of 70, though, is that The Deal itself is actually unprofitable, meaning that we will lose coins on average every time we play it. What makes playing The Deal worthwhile is not the winnings from the game itself, but the payments from the half of the jackpot that is divided among all players from the last 12 hours.
Therefore, we should minimize the losses from the actual game by keeping the stakes as small as possible. That way, we achieve the best ROI for our StarsCoins once we get our share of the jackpot, which is the main reason for playing. The few winnings from lucky Deal hands are merely a little bonus on the side.

When we look just at the possibility of hitting the Jackpot:
Playing 7 Coins you need a Royal Flush to hit Jackpot round which is 4x1 possible 5-card combos.
Playing 70 Coins you need a Straight Flush to hit Jackpot round which is 4x10 possible 5-card combos.
So 10 times the price and 10 times the possible combos --> should be exactly the same 
Even if they would give a discount of 1 coin to 69 it would make 70 coins strategy more profitable --> if you do have enough coins for consistently playing for 70 coins.
Didn't compare the other payouts, could be that there are advantages playing 70 coins (which I would assume because it should be the room's interest that people spend more coins per hand).
If I calculated correctly 5 out of 52 is 2.598.960 different 5-card combos where each card only exists once.
Well as of this morning the Deal has disappeared from my .gr domain . Is this universal ? or yet another restriction on .gr players . Pokerstars and the Greek government are certainly not encouraging players to visit Pokerstars but unfortunately virtually none of the other favourable sites are available .

a few weeks ago, I won a sat into the hotter 22 but when the satellite was over the late registration was already closed and I didnt enter the mtt.
Of course no refund or 22$ ticket was given, but after I contacted them, they gave me an amazing... "sorry chest", and guess what was inside,...

Did you by chance see how big the jackpot was and if it was still growing? Because if it's gone for most of players shouldn't be growing in the same way as usual

The Jackpot had frozen since early morning at just under 225,000
I didn't record the exact amount.

In the past the jackpot has been well over 225K several times.
Of the ones I recorded, it was over 225K 12 of 21 times
The highest was 456K, the average of all 21 jackpots I've recorded is 225K in fact.
I did notice though, that during the current run, I had played 15 times, and had never got more than 1 pair.
In the past I had always done better -- sometimes finishing with more starscoin than I had at the start.
Might just be variance, but I wonder...
I saw more people have the same problem.
Got response from support today. And it suggests that the jackpot will be as high as it was when the button disappeared.
