I hate Stars

Stars is the toughest room in my opinion for micro limits.

I've already migrated to partypoker where I play smothly and try GGpoker with the free money I will get.

Despite the above comment I don't think that PS is rigged.

I hate being harsh, but...
K9s -- you can't bet big with 2nd nut flush on a paired board --
66 -- set over set loss is not that uncommon, but it still hurts -- note also that on that board, a made straight is possible
The other hands are pretty standard coolers -- you get it in good, but still lose.

Note that in 3 of the 6 hands your $EV difference was positive -- in the others, not.

You'll get used to this after a while -- and after a while you'll have similar spots go your way.
News flash: you will actually see more spots where you lose to suckouts when you're playing these so-called "soft" sites. Why? Because these fools will call with anything, and call down with anything, and will hit with a mathematically certain frequency. For example: AA vs 72 offsuit has an 88.2% chance of winning by showdown. That means 72o will beat AA over 10% of the time.

Same today for me, altho I did recover later on. Lost 6.5BI in short time too. Reg tables.

Hard to argue that Pokerstars is rigged but then again if it happens so frequently, it is kinda tough to swallow and you start thinking again.

In the last 100-150 hands cash game on a micro level I lost AA against JJ, I lost AA against 77, I lost KK against 22 all on an all in level, I lost QQ against QT because he hit a ten twice and then finally I lost with my top set on the flop against a backdoor flush. He shouldn't have called that hand preflop, he should definitely not call his hand on the flop and yet again he did and won the hand. Mind you it's not like I had 5 other big pocket pair and won them, no these were the only ones and I lost them all. Obviously hard to be profitable like this but then again that's how it is.

I started playing this year after a break.
Came back on stars and was supprised that they limited the amount of tables to 4.
But well, I stuck around anyway and started playing. And I have never seen so many fish in 1 pool as now is the case at PS nl2.

Really, if you don't play fancy. Just cbet fold, or call call call if you hit.
You just can't lose.
Don't bluff, overfold, 3bet a lot from the blinds against steals.

It won't be optimal, but you will make money.

Believe it or not there were people on here who moaned about Pokerstars introducing a four table cap for cash games. A minority of us, two to be exact, reasoned the games would be less congested with regs and become much softer. Today 2nl plays like pre-black Friday. I'm running at 10/bb over 250k hands played since the introduction of the table cap. My winrate when the tables were reg infested was 6bb.

Well, if your observation is that the player you lost against shouldn't have called your bets in that situation.
Give him a nice colour tag. I do this all the time.
And sit at tables were you have a lot of people tagged as fish.

And if you play zoom. You know the player will overcall. So next time, his stack will be yours

It's a good way to get some +EV out of your bad beats
You'll make up for the bad beats in notime.

Pokerstars .es is the easiest at micros.

bro it seems like you dont have a simple understanding of variance.
It work can work both but we always choose too ignore the hands we win through luck? like we deserved it.
one can only play hands too the best of the our abilty and could possible win 6 buyins in 6 hands, you just need make plus ev decisions consistently.

The way I see it, everybody takes a beating sometime.

This is just an inseparable part of poker. If you cant deal with this you just dont have what it takes to play the game. I am for instance 8BI below EV over the last 100 hands with AA. Basically every time I went all in with AA over the last like 30k hands I was way ahead and still lost. That just happens and will happen. Not a fault of the poker room.

It's ok It's alright stop whining and get back at the tables and get your money back with interest
