So I bluffed

Comments?

I'm 2nd or 3rd in the tournament here, and c/l on the table with 8 to go to the $$
I think in this table and tournament position, the KJo is an OK open raise <== is it?

Pacific Poker - 700/1400 Ante 175 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG+1: 35,123
MP: 22,906
Hero (MP+1): 55,020
CO: 3,608
BTN: 19,015
SB: 30,884
BB: 42,037
UTG: 29,245

8 players post ante of 175, SB posts SB 700, BB posts BB 1,400

Pre Flop: (pot: 3,500) Hero has J♣:K♥:

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3,500, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2,100

Flop: (9,100, 2 players) A♦:9♥:A♣:
BB checks, Hero bets 3,003, BB calls 3,003 <== I think I must CBet here, and fold to any raise.
Thinking: If he has an Ace he'll bet and let me know, if he has a pocket pair (which I think likely) he can find a fold.

Turn: (15,106, 2 players) 3♣:
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (15,106, 2 players) 7♣: <== Another brick I think, but it completes a flush, and the board is paired, and I have air
BB checks, Hero bets 7,553, fold

It is def ok to raise with KJ in that position
I like how you played everything.

It's a very good spot to bluff because I doubt he's gonna check an ace on the turn with a FD possible out there and when he checks on the river it shows so much weakness.

Turn check of him is pretty standard with in mind you are the aggressor so far. If I had a ace I would check/call the flop and turn. Off course if he had a ace he would bet the river for value for sure after your check. River is fine I guess. You could let him fold a pair or something.
