weaker reg.
just fold pre vs the humongous 4bet sizing while a bit deeper - we don't even know if AK is in his range, let alone any bluffs.
flop is fml, because he bets a commital sizing and we have to hope he has some overcard kinda hands, but he probably won't.

Hey Tomaloc.
What's your opinion on playing deep at the tables? Like with +150bbs. Do you have a strategy for "when to leave the table and reopen"?

lmao why in the hell you would jam that flop lol, you are actually turning OP lol. I am not sure is he going to call you with AJ if he have it at all! Besides it is 124bb ES!

i am more comfortable with aggression at 100bbs, but playing deep is mostly an advantage imo. regs are mostly stacking too light (example: me) and opportunities to stack the deep fish are always nice.

pot will be like 135 with 57 behind, so we're quite commited by calling anyway, except we allow him to get a free river if he wants. but yeah, this hand is fucked, i almost want to fold flop because he's playing it super face up... just fold pre, i had zero reason to believe he's being light so it's either marginally winning or losing hard.

all of those are different regs from the most recent 3k hands. i don't mind.

turns out that i am actually playing the game, after all.
not only that, but i have worked on my game too - you can see that red line stops sucking as much near the later third.
there's been some spewing, but i see some "new" lines that have been working, just have to pull the trigger.

life is more difficult when you have weirdly constructed ranges.

That is pretty cool. Thank you.
The bloggers here are some kind of paragon for me. You are pretty much the prove that it can work out and I am hoping to become as good as you are.
This is why I am also interested in what influenced you the most.
You mentioned 3 guys at your first blog post.

Retrospectivly what would you say, is the most important tool or video series that gained you the skill that you have.
I always want to direct my training.

Greetings,
Tyrion

@Tomaloc,
Have you tried the new Hold'em zoom with antes?
It is available on a trial basis up to NL 10

I'd be interested in your opinion, since you're the zoom guy...

i kept your question in the back of my mind, and i don't have an answer.
focus on your thought process, keep an open mind, and decide for yourself which pieces of advice might make sense and which don't.

it's fun, as i'm used to being one of the looser regs in the pool. should be especially fun while no one is prepared.
however, i'm curious on whether rake can fuck up this format and destroy any extra edge that might be there. i still didn't think the maths over...
