PokerStars just announced a brand-new tournament series, running from July 5 until August 2, with a total of 102 tournaments that are scheduled in those four weeks.
A total prize pool of $50 million will be guaranteed and while the name "Stadium Series" suggests it's a live thing, expectedly all events are going to be played online.
What's special about the series is that the bulk of the events will be played as weekly heats, still representing standalone tournaments, but with a chance to win your way into one of three tiers of weekly finals held each Sunday.
The buy-ins and guarantees for these will increase every week, all the way to the final weekend—the Grand Final, with a top tier buy in of $5,200 and $5 million guaranteed.

- Stadium Series Heats: Running Monday to Saturday, with top finishers getting tickets to the coveted Stadium Series Sunday Finals.
- Stadium Series Sunday Finals: Biggest weekly prize pools up for grabs, with final table finishers getting a Grand Final ticket worth $5,200.
- Special Edition Spin & Go's: Buy-in starts at $4, with Stadium Series tickets awarded, including seats in the Grand Final worth $5,200.
- Fast Track: Play your way through steps to earn a Grand Final seat, with over $1M in tickets given away.
- Stadium Series Trials: Special Challenge where you earn leaderboard points by playing MTTs (1 point per $1 buy-in) with the chance on a $5,200 Grand Final seat by placing in the Top 25 or a $1,050 Fast Track ticket by placing between 26-125. More info can be found in the Challenge window.
