No need to donk bet here.

Just c/c the flop.

Well,it's actually not a donk. It's a lead in an unraised pot and I like it. If villain folds, what in my opinion is often enough the case, wegain alot of equity and it's fine for me against an unknown. Problem on this boardstructure is, that you will be facing reraises alot against a good oponent.
A bet/fold doesn't seem to be nice, but it's still okayish.
I would bet 48 or 50 on the flop

yeah, villain denied your equity quite successfully.

I am curious what others got to say to this.

Yeah, donking might be fine with some reads and with good hands selection and on certain board textures.

As said it's not donking but lead bet to be specific on terminology.

Problem in leading tend to be that very few actually does it with Kx in this spot. It's very often limited to fd, 3x and some air. So it does open door for heavy exploitation. So if using leading do mix in some trips also. Usually I would just x-c to keep pot smaller and try to make it less likely to end up in tough spot. Of course we have some merit in aiming to take down pot from flop bit issue is when we get raised or we get called. Range to do either of those are likely lot tighter than what villain could stab on dry flop.

Also it's spot where range wise BU can have good amount of pockets and Kx where as we would shove most pockets and stronger Kx preflop. So from that perspective lead has also issues.

I would limp lot of pockets preflop personally in villain shoes to protect my limp range. Depends of course also how much you are raising versus limp.

This combo would not be bad to shove occasionally. After all anything villain folds is ahead preflop basically and if he has some Ax or KJ, etc. you will still have decent equity. Reason why I often don't shove crappy Kx versus limps as they are so easily dominated.

It's hard to say how villain construct limping range pre but I would say it's usually more weighted toward weak and mediocre hands.

Postflop issue of flop 3bet shove is that those high card hands should not be raising but calling unless they have flush draw perhaps. Raising plain A high make no sense which doesn't mean people would not do it though. Anyway A high calling seems bit optimistic to me.
