AQ oop vs 3 barrel

Hi Pokerstrategy.

Quick note about Villain: This was the 1st time he 3-betted IP, all his other 3-bets were OOP.
Villain has been seen C-betting with air/double barrel with air, but never seen 3 barrel so far.

While my line was very passive, was it correct nonetheless?

It's a funky spot. Especially his huge bet on turn makes things interesting.
If I would fold I would do it on the turn.
I don't expect he will bet so much as bluff, but on NL2 you never know.

Cheers,

His 3bet% is huge (I would check it by position, too), but indicates him being bluff heavy and would raise him on turn and stack off. His VPIP/PFR looks fishy, too, so he could have played like this with worse Qx, JJ, bluffs.

His 3bet is huge but the sample size isnt. AFAIR, he 3bet twice from SB and 1ce from BB. 1st ever 3bet here out of blinds.
X/C X/C X/C is really a sucky line most of the time. Every time I review this hand I cringe, and then wonder how I could get out of this line.

With hindsight, by order of preference, I would probably have preferred,
a donk flop
a fold turn
a raise turn

You mention he must have a decent amount of bluffs here, but his river Agg% (which I did not have on my HUD live) indicates he does not bluff river.
I looked at this hand once again with new stats such as WWSF WTSD W$SD and all indicates he is quite aggro but only goes to showdowm equipped fairly well (WTSD 27.3, W$SD 55, which is a tiny bit tighter than me on 10k+ hands sample)

His VPIP PFR are typical LAG, far from fishy IMHO, though it depends a lot on postflop behaviour, but based on the above, this guy plays reasonably well.

Thanks for the input Boss.
