I think it was O.K. as played. As opp called Turn pot bet, Hero could just check back on the river, I think. I myself tends to bet max in this kind of spot, but the results were not that good.

this runout is pretty bad, as the opponent's calling range is Ax and high cards will give him some full houses. Q is the worst card and checking behind the river is well justified.

I would most likely bet a little bit more than half pot on turn and in this case check behind the river.
I would only value shove if villain is passive, but in that case you could Cbet the flop a little bit more as well.

Also: If i assume he opens with all suited Aces UTG i now lose to all of these with this runout...

lol i hadn't noticed the backdoor flush, that river is actually the worst card in the deck.

I think you should bet more on the flop. Half pot isn't enough all his pairs will call.
Agree with the others, this runout is terrible and checking behind the river is fine.

this is basically the worst possible runout, and betting river is pure spew - be happy that they checked.

Also, the turn bet is WAY too big. Ask yourself how you would feel in villain's position with a potential calling hand.

villain being passive actually makes this a worse spot to shove, as it puts more passively played strong hands in his line...

exacly, that's what i wanted to say.
You are so unpolarize in that situation. Ask your self if you have any bluffs in this spot with that sizing.

It is what most people think:
"ok, i bet small on flop, now he is commit to the pot so i can bet big on turn with big hand."
