Sure you were...

Mods and danger of removing this troll who is de-railing the thread?

For the first time I can say I've seen Yadi expose clearly the void of his idea : basically he can't beat GTO but suggests that if we can make GTO players tilt enough we might win against them at the good old exploitative one level ahead mind game.

That's easy right ? So why wasn't he clear until know ? Probably because now everyone can see how naked the king is, once stripped of all pretentiously vague claims. For at least 2 big reasons :

1- There is nothing new in the exploitative mind game. Congratulations you reinvented lukewarm water. Brillant spirit of our generation. Future of poker my ass.
2- People printing money nowadays do it by studying GTO and more GTO. Good luck playing more crazily than Limitless without just playing poorly. GTO is both the best defense against anything out of the ordinary (and not the unimaginative standard you make it to be) and the best way to create uncommon lines people weren't aware of yet some years ago.

Thus I'm sure your book isn't very interesting. Have fun reading it Kyyberi. :f_drink:

1. Again, please stop referring to me as Yadi. I genuinely don't know what you're talking about and I don't know why you find it appropriate to talk without any basic respect just because you are behind a keyboard. But maybe we were brought up differently.
2. I didn't mention once that the strategies are based on playing exploitatively vs GTO players.
3. You haven't found any flaws in my methodology, because you do not understand said methodology. What you are doing is finding flaws in what you think it is about because you don't know any different. See earlier comment on strawmanism.
4. If you really think the players making all the money from poker are the ones with a perfect GTO strategy, you're sadly mistaken. I write a chapter on this in my book. The poker sites have an incentive to make you believe that, but the reality is that margins and win rates are getting ever thinner, and the winners are those with a 'brand' to cash via ancillary incomes, who then complete the circle by returning the favour for poker sites encouraging players to study GTO despite their having a significant skill gap to the point where it will benefit their profit rate.

1- You are Yadi. Harrier proved it. No one is fooled.
2- You pretend to invent cheap tricks over and over to take GTO players off-balanced. That's even more stupid for several reasons I shouldn't have to detail here.
3- You might not be the king of poker but though are the king of strawmanism here in every reply you make to us and every description of GTO and GTO players you give. The joke is on you.
4- Hard to argue with something so stupid... the least reason not being you torn my affirmation, and the funnier reason being you are probably suggesting the best players are already on to what's supposedly revolutionary in your book. Add a little conspiracist evil room theory plus a good zest of the "no money in poker everyone solid" song and you have the whole gibberish. Lmao.

You pretended that I was to you like Fish Hellmuth compared to Tom Dwan, you fancy yourself as the future but you are so in the past, your very way of seeing the future is overdue and you don't even see it.
In 1900 it was the car boom, and people thought in 2000 we'd all have flying cars. They thought they were imaginative and clever, they had such an open mind to make that sound prediction ! Nowadays we have computers and internet, which no one predicted, and soon no oil and certainly no incentive to make our cars fly.
What you do is like that, you pretend to see the future but from the past lense. Begin by understanding GTO better and then you'll see how fool you are because you haven't reached that level yet.

clearly, everyone in here has been getting yadi vibes since the start :f_biggrin:

it's unlikely that there can be any "hard proof" that this guy is yadi (Harrier just added more weight to the hypothesis), but the similarity is uncanny.
to disprove that allegation, you're going to have to provide some proof...

Hi everyone, just a reminder I'm here to discuss any of the concepts I've raised in the thread or that you may read in my book.

However, in response to the post above which has now been edited 4 times, I'd rather not go in circles with people who are making little sense / have no intention of reading either my book or even my posts properly, and who are insistent that there cannot be a better path for poker, because they can't currently visualise it themselves.

Whatever, we believe about poker as it is today - it will develop and move on, and the stuff being posted in forums today will be outdated in 10 years time. I'd much rather be in the camp trying to work out what the the future of poker looks like, than the camp devoutly perfecting themselves to thrive today.

Well I'm looking forward to learn what you foresee in your crystal ball because for now you are as unclear and scammy as any voyant =)
You sure seem to be making things up though. Just not future poker.

Hey guys,

The repetitive trolling will not be tolerated. Either read the book so you can make an informed comment, or risk losing your posting privileges for derailing the thread and making unproven allegations against OP.

There will be no further warnings given before action is taken.

Regards

Laz

Hey all, sorry I've been away -- I had a computer crash.
Whether you believe OP is yadi or you don't is irrelevant.
The way OP has been treated here is shameful and embarrassing to those of us who value the forums.

Sorry Laz -- I could not resist.
Be polite and respectful or your posts will simply disappear.
Mocking and other flame-bait language will just get your post removed, so save the wear-and-tear on your fingers.
If you are not familiar with our forum principles, I suggest that you review them.

I went to Amazon to see if there was a Kindle Edition -- there wasn't, so I won't be buying it. The last thing I need around here is more "stuff".

Regards,
VS

I'll say again, I genuinely am not anything to do with anyone who has posted on your forum previously. I am fairly dissapointed that everyone in this forum appears not to believe that fact, and so is set up to dismiss my new book, because they have a preconceived idea about who wrote it, and also have a preconceived idea about the arguments being put forward. I can say without doubt that my arguments will be very different to those of 'Yadi' since I have spent years developing them in my own mind and on the poker table, against strong opposition. From what I can gather this poster was anti GTO - I am phenominally supportive of the concept of GTO poker, I have spent years studying it (with a Maths/Economics degree) and I have been a profitable online and live pro for 13 years predominantly by playing a brand of GTO poker while adapting to exploit weaknesses, particularly in a live game. What I am attempting to do is find ways to make life uncomfortable for GTO pros and find ways to put them in spots they cant execute a GTO strategy well.

The above is an honest reflection, and I am not scamming or trying in any way to deceive anybody. I've also not promised anybody is going to get rich from my book. If you do not believe what I say then I would rather you do not read my book. I make very little profit on each book sale and have very little incentive to encourage people to read it other than because I want poker to have some original thought, and some very good players have taken an interest already. As I say I'm happy to go through any verification check you wish to prove I am not this previous poster.

If you can't see this from the clarity of my thoughts and the quality of my posts that I am a genuine poker pro trying to advance debate, rather than a forum troll, then that says a lot about how misinformation now spreads on the internet so easily.

No problem - but sadly I'm not him. To continue your analogy, I don't see myself as swimming against the tide - instead I accept which way the tide is flowing and I understand why, I'm just trying to get everyone to put a few islands into the ocean along the way! It's a shame this Yadi is not around though if he loved 'GTO bashing' as much as it sounds like - the book may have made him more constructive and grounded on his crusade!

Kyyberi which amazon site did you order from? I've heard people in Canada have had some slow deliveries but US and UK have been sending them out next day.

Hey Kyyberi,

Maybe you should check with Amazon support. When I go to the page, it says that it is not available to ship to my location (Australia).

Yes definitely check in with Amazon support. They have it in stock on Amazon.com. I did want to release as an e-pub too but have had some difficulties with Amazon. I will look into it again
