The villain is 21/17/af2.1/3B:8, 320 hands, it also says Flop Cbet CR 23%

SB: 106.18 BB
BB: 100 BB
UTG: 105.5 BB
Hero (MP): 681.03 BB
CO: 82.98 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♣ Q♣

fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5.5 BB, 2 players) 2♥ Q♠ 3♠
BB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, BB raises to 11.42 BB, Hero calls 8.42 BB

Turn: (28.34 BB, 2 players) T♣
BB bets 24.23 BB, fold

BB wins 26.92 BB

I don't think I've ever seen him misbehave before.

Thoughts?

With only a bluff catcher and in mind you most likely need to stack off most rivers if you call I would fold as well on the turnon the big Cbet of villain.

Cheers,

Stop posting awful spots please

I still I think peel turn and evaluate what he does on certain rivers. We are a bit too high up our range to already fold turn imo.

What do you do with AQ? And how about flush draws?

We unblock all FDs/A4s/A5s/54s/56s, so I'm calling again. He only has 6 clear value combos, though AQ could be played that way too. 23% of flop XR is quite a lot. He could XR stuff like 98hh/KJhh/JThh etc. that have 2 backdoors as well

I think that I call on the turn, you haven't , he can cr with fd, K:s J and barrel turn with oesd + blocker, A:s 4-5, and 2x

Value 22-33 32s, Q2s, Q3s, some AQ, but he can cr also some Qx worse than yours.

You have a bluff catcher, without info if the field can bluff bluff I defend, you has your top range here, only overpair AQ and set are better than KQ.

21/17 is on the tight side, I don't think we can put Q3s/Q2s/32s in villain's range vs 2.5x open from MP in a game without antes.

If he is CRing flop a lot then he could have QT/TT also.

AQ, Q2cc, Q3hh, T2ss, 22, 33, TT, QT vs A2ss, A5ss, A4ss, 54ss, ATss, KJss, AJss, flush draws, straight draws.

I think we can call turn and play river, sure. It's a reasonable assumption, yes.

I looked him up in PT4.

Turn: (33.06 BB, 2 players) J♠

Hero wins 98.06 BB

This is the biggest pot I ever played against him in 50NL + 100NL.

I remember this hand. He snap folded on turn.

How is a 21/17 having Q2s/T2s/Q3s in this spot? Is it really a standard play BB vs 2.5x from MP, in a game without antes and 5% of rake?

Well, I flat any two suited on BB, if it's 1.5BB more but it's usually 1.25BB more so I assume he does the same. My stats are tighter than his too. Tighter over all. I might be one of the tightest players in these games.

Edit: added more info

Oh wow ok, I guess I missed something. I don't even do that and I play in games with antes and 4.5% rake, I find that super loose. Do you have a large sample? Did you ever check on PT4 with a filter what your winrate is in the BB with suited trash when EP-CO opens for <=2.25x?

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just very surprised and it's totally possible that I am learning something new here :)

I don't know how to do all that stuff but I do glance over the "Leak Tracker". Here is my BB stats but every stats meaning everything I have is within green, not just the BB stats, everything. Small sample size though of 37k hands. I do HH review and analysis and take notes sometimes.

Edit: typo

You can go to "More Filters...":
a) "Action and Opportunities - Preflop" > "PF Calls" > "Called 2bet".
b) "Hand Details" > "Position of Active Player" > Exactly 8
c) "Hand Details" > "Position of Lead Aggressor" > Between 0 and 2
d) "Hand Values" > "Hole Cards Range Selection" > Select suited trash
e) "Action and Opportunities - Preflop" > "PF Action Encountered with Sizes" > 2bet Size between 2 and 2.3x

That's my graph:

The filters:

I did not expect that, and it's a sign that I don't defend enough, so thanks a lot :)

When you face at NL100 a 2.25x open, you have to pay 1.25x for a pot of 3bb, and when I face a 2.5x with 10% antes I need to pay 1.5x for a pot of 4.1bb, meaning I even have better pot odds, so I should definitely look into that defending more suited stuff, maybe not 72s vs EP, but I can probably be looser than I am now :)

TT not, QT only 1-2 combos, he needs top pair also in calling range.

However spoiler's hand isn't relevant, you hadn't bluff there :)
