NL16 QTs - straight on bad turn card

I am writing this before seeing the results: if you want to value the hands you mentioned, I would xr turn, there are so many bad rivers for a hand AK, and stuff like AsQx would happily call a large xr.

After his small bet on the turn he has mostly draws and almost never 2 pairs or better. Donking the river is pointless and even if you do want to donk, you certainly cannot overbet - you mostly aim to get called by top pair / second pair kind of hands that had some draw and missed (so about 1/3 should be ok). That overbet is never getting called with weaker than flush / str8, simply because he almost never has weaker hands that you beat than that after the turn.

I would personally bet the turn to about 3.20 $ because that is the spot you can get calls and raises from weaker hands. Another option is to check / raise the turn which is not unreasonable if you expect him to bet with a wide range (unlikely given that he called a very big c-bet on the flop which is practically never a bluff).

River is very optimistic your almost turning it in to a bluff which seems strange personally i would be checking the river.

In 4way you can cr flop if some oppo bet vs missed, as played cf turn or blockbet if he is passive

Or is trapping, or is trying to induce a bluff -- which amounts to the same thing more or less.

OTR this is a good spot for a "blocker bet" -- something smallish in case opponent has a smallish flush.
You have to make this bet/fold or at best bet/call if your blocker is small and opponent's raise is small.

Generally people would not bet 1/5 with strong made hands but weak players would bet like that with medium made hands and draws. If you want to trap, you simply check behind the turn which is practically the same as betting 1/5. I particularly do not like donking the river but if you insist to donk, the sizing should be about 1/3 which can be called by worse. Overbetting isolates you versus better hands (no matter how unlikely i consider them in this spot).
