Less players means less regs and a bigger rec/reg ratio to me

:mdr: I'm pretty sure the notion that GGPoker is inhabited by lousy poker players is a marketing gimmick
Whenever I've played there, there have been terrible players, mediocre players and good players.

I have a question about the Rake on the lowest Limit of AoF ($0.05/$0.10).
On your website it says that on this limit, you take 0.03 BB + 0.04 BB Rake, which would be 0.3 Cent + 0.4 Cent.

How exactly is Rake which is a fraction of a Cent implemented? Is my acount balance running with 3 Dezimalpoints in the background? Or is it rounded up each time and in reality I pay much more Rake than advertised?

I made a request to withdraw funds to Visa! 2 times the money is not withdrawn but returned to the account! :why:

Hi ew8fh,
To resolve this it will be necessary to contact GGPoker support.
The best way would be to use the tools in the cashier itself.

All the best,
VS

I hate it when that happens.
Perhaps contact customer service of the card issuer to find out if they have any help.

Are other withdrawal methods possible?

Hi,
I have account on GG which I haven't used since april. When I tried to login recently, I received information that my account is susspended- with no information about the reason for that. I have contected support via e-mail twice recently and never got any reply. Is there another way to contact support?

Hi sgtpeter,
Well GGPoker does have a discord channel, but they wouldn't be able to discuss account problems there, due to privacy concerns.

What email address did you use?
They have several, and they have changed.

I just confirmed on discord that help@ggpoker.com is the one to use.
If -- and only if -- you used a different email address.
Send one -- and only one -- email to that address.

They have a queue of cases to deal with.
It would make sense if your new email got merged with your original email, but I sometimes suspect that the old ones get merged with the new ones, and every time you send an email, you move to the back of the line (again).

Best of luck :gl:,

A brilliant question, and my thoughts exactly.

1) I just made a 100€ deposit
2) I played 7000+ hands 1$ AOF
3) Made 60$+ profit according to PokerCraft EV Graph
4) Should have paid a little over 50$ in combined fees
5) Profit?
6) Nah, my balance after these hands is 91€ and some cents. (With no other games played, other than 10 free spins on casino with less than 2€ profit and few $ in AOFBingo wins)

PokerCraft EV winning graph should have no reason to report the wrong actual winning amount in a game that does not even require any in-game rake calculations. (All-in EV can be wrong due to the multiway calcs, but that's irrelevant)

The whole thing would make sense if they maleficently round the 0,007$ rake to the nearest dollar cent. Not a good look (or how they say nowadays )

Edit: Is your account in some other currency than the game? Mine is, so this might be a huge issue as well? The cashier mechanics make hundreds of exchanges when playing this game. Could GG bank some money here?

Edit 2: Even the balance history says that every folded non-big blind game takes away 0.01€ (should be 0,006€), folded sb takes away 0.05€ (should be 0,047€) and folded BB 0.09€! (should be 0.088€!). It seems that you are compensated in winning pots.

So play super loose and don't lose pots! Hmmm, who would this calculation way benefit in millions in the long run? Not a good look!

Edit 3: Call Joe Ingram!

I did the above calcs in 2$ AOF and it's getting worse. (At least for me)

I'm getting constantly charged 0.02-0.03€/pot (instead of a steady 0.02$ (0.01$ rake and 0.01$ jackpot) hinted in GGPoker info). Plus I can't find any spots that would alleviate the overcharging. (Maybe multiway pots, but they are not that frequent that it would make a real difference. They would need to add money in these pots to compensate.)

So when I'm expecting my games to cost me around ~165€/day. They actually cost me ~240€/day.

The change from the old happened early this month straight after clearing a big bonus from the fish buffet.

After finding this sh*t out, no wonder this month has sucked. Definitely not a good look for GGPoker.

Hi Nabendar,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com! :welcome:

You've discovered one of the weirdest things about GGPoker.
Their graphs do not take rake into account.

Why they do this is unknown.

I don't know how exchange is handled in GGPoker, since my account is in US$, which I also play in.
When you do it that way, you only get charged exchange on deposit and withdrawal.

Best of luck :gl:,

Thank you Vorpal,

The story gets even sadder. Not only that they charge much more rake than advertised, they also implement the PVI in AOF. For me, I seem to accumulate 40% of the advertised 100 fish points/1$ rake.

So there's extra rake paid (like a lot, 45% more in 2$ AOF) and fewer points (0.4 PVI, so 60% fewer points) towards the fish buffet thing. Not a good look at all!

Hi lpzlie,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com! :welcome:

It isn't likely that anyone here can help, since no-one has access to your GGPoker account information.

Do you have a permanent address you can use?
If that address is in a country that permits poker, you can use that address.

Where does your mail go?
Things like bank statements, bills and similar correspondence might help.

Work with their customer service -- they may have some suggestions.

Best of luck :gl:,

GGPoker is usually pretty good.
Check your spam filter, and be sure you're sending to the correct address.
It should be: help@ggpoker.com
You could also try the live chat tool on the client -- the ? symbol on the very bottom row

Best of luck :gl:,

Hello guys !!
I'd like to describe one problem I got with withdrawaling from GGpoker. I despoited 20$ with the option of 40$ in tickets for first deposit. After playing tickets I ended up with 48.50$ and doubled the roll to 100$ on a roulette:f_tongue: .Now I wanna cashout everything althoug I can't because everytime I try to do so I receive an email from their support: " Please ensure to have sufficient gameplay before proceeding with your withdrawal request ". I have played arround 4000 hands on Rush&Gold and arround hundred Spin&Gold. What do you guys think ? Is it the rake that I must generate ( 40$ from the free ticktes I had received ) ? I have asked the support of GGPoker many times and no clear answer.

Good luck and thanks for reading.

I asked on the GGPoker discord channel, and I got this reply:

U mean if u can find somewhere the exact amount u need to play before u can ask for a withdraw? if thats what u mean the answer is that there is not.

He did suggest later in the chat that it was at least 1x the deposit.

I looked over GGPoker's house rules and found nothing useful

Cheers,

Well if I understand it correctly I must play for my $20 deposited. It's done. I played 4 tables of NL5 for couple hours and SPINS. On spins I did turnover of 40$ at least :(

Hey Cassy,

No one from GGPoker replyed to the issue and I have left the GG poker room and should everyone else for that matter. I tried playing a couple of tournaments and the bad beats were just ridiculous as the A's hits non stop on the river.
