What is worse it 3 hours and get a whole batch -- or even a batch and a half -- of great cards that all run into greater ones.

<sigh>

Best of luck :gl:,

No, that´s not too bad at all. I am glad that I lost ONLY 3.50 $. :f_biggrin:

Keep calm and hope for better flops.... :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

I have some good news and some bad news for you guys. The bad news are: again a crappy session with totally missed flops, and one cooler. The good news though: Managed to keep the losses at an absolute minimum, could double up twice in plo10 and get some pots with bluffs, the rest was just staying patent and keeping calm. So, could manage to ONLY loose -5 $ and I´m happy with that. :f_ugly: :f_biggrin:

At least I can report some gardening success: basil, rosemary, dill, parsley and thyme are growing nicely, today I planted more really HOT chili and some sweet pepper as well. And even more seeds arrived: basil, rosemary, thyme and cress.

Anyway, let´s hope for better cards tomorrow .....

Getting bad flops is definitely a leak.
Concentrate more on getting better cards.

Keeping yr loss to a minimum when carddead is an undervalued thing in my opinion. How easy it is to get impatient in PLO and begin playing dominated hands and lose big. Keep up the good Work Prim and You will soon value pot-pot-pot yr opponents again

Thank you very much, deralte! That was indeed something I got a little bit proud of: I could stay calm and just fold.

I still have no idea why I stay calm in cash games while I get easily frustrated in tournaments. :f_ugly: :f_biggrin:

Probably because you can afford to sit back and fold when you don't get the cards in cash games and take the limited losses, while you cannot do that in tournaments because of the rising blinds.

Exactly! In CG I have time. I can wait and whenever I am fed up with folding, I can take a break of leave the tables anytime. But I am also WAY more confident in CG.

Trolls at the FT, a deep run in PLO .....and an unhappy Prim

So, let´s talk about my fun-evening with Harrier. We played again our "Troll Freeroll" and both made it to the FT. I was card dead there and being a short stack I finally find A8 in the BB. This bully .... pardon ... my friend sits on the BTN and raises. I decide to jam and the trolls clash again: this time we flip 55 vs A8. ... and guess who takes me out again? ..

So, 8th place for me and we gonna meet live soon so ..... :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :mdr: :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:

Harrier placed 3rd!! CONGRATS!! :appl:

Further I made a deep run in the 2.20 $ PLO - PKO, could take two really FAT bounties and another one. 3 KOes. Came ITM could double up there a couple of times and after a while, nothing worked anymore. To my left I had the maniac chip leader who called everything and bullied everybody. Barely hit a flop and had to fold upon Villains big bets, or just didn´t make my draws.

We were 20 players left (out of more than 1.200) and I raised BTN with KK68ss. Of course the big stack calls and a short stack jams. I try to isolate the short stack, but no chance. The big stack calls also (even it was a decent part of his stack, I was midstack) and of course gets lucky with his random hand

Only 19th place for me in PLO, ITM and altogether +18 $ winning .. and still ..... an unhappy Prim. I´m not happy with placing only 19th in PLO. :rage:

Maybe I should post recipes?

...at least until this boring cg-phase is over :f_ugly: nothing special to report today. Played 2 hours, couldn´t find a decent plo10 table so played mainly plo5. The only action was a nice full house, could take a decent pot with that, the rest were small pots and enountered a little FH vs FH "cooler" but fortunately, as I didn´t have the nut full, I decided just to call Villains bet and kept my loss at a minimum of 4 $ (plo10).

Altogether again break-evenish, about -2,50 $.

Proud baby princess

My fun-MTT-evening went a bit unlucky yesterday. Played the 3.30 $ PLO MIcro Millions event, the 2.20 $ PLO-PKO and the 2.20 $ PLO8-PKO on Stars and of course the "troll freeroll" with Harrier. PLO went a bit crappy. Card-dead and busted from the Micro Million with top set vs naked flushdraw. From the 2.20 $ PLO-PKO I busted with overpair vs runner runner flush. PLO8 went well again and I´m so proud of my "baby princess" (my avatar)! _love:

She not only managed to get ITM in PLO8 (with one KO) and took a 33rd place, she also improved A LOT in driving her little baby kart. _love: Yes, on Friday we had again a nice troll-gaming session with Harrier (of course with some nice drinks) and my cute baby princess manged to place 3rd in on of our races. She was even leading and shortly before the finish line a mean bully troll :f_ugly: dropped a mushroom bomb on her (not very gentleman :f_ugly: ) and so she placed only 3rd. But a very good result for me, who actually sucks at Super Mario Kart. :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

Our troll freeroll also went okay, unfortunately Harrier busted out before ITM (a least he couldn´t kick me out this time) and after a long card-dead phase I manged to double up twice and found myself at the FT. There I jammed 88 on a T-4-3-flop, Villain calls and shows 38o :f_ugly: and gets there with runner-runner flush :rage: . 9th place for me but at least ITM.

Not really lucky but a little winning of about + 5 $.

Well, that would have been a little overkill... and not very gentleman indeed.

Actually, you were hit by one of those:

It still got the job done. :f_tongue:

Nice runs in your tournaments too. :f_thumbsup:

...and who dropped the crappy hands bomb? :f_o:

Hey guys, I´m back at Unibet, by the way and played a early session PLO10. We don´t have good start there, guys. My crappy PLO-phase continues: totally missed flops, junk hands, missed draws. And we don´t wanna forget about the nice cooler I encountered: nut full jammed into quads. :rage:

Played anyway, my usual 2 hours and had to finish with -18 €. Not a catastrophe, not devastating, but not really nice either. Hope, next session will be better. :profit:

And this time, I slept ....

Oh dear! :rage: Played a 2 hour session on Stars and there was not much going on, but could at least take one stack in plo5 (there was only one plo10 table available) and half a stack in plo10. Still pretty card-dead and I could have come out break-even - but I slept! While playing double suited acies, I got the blockers wrong and called a Villain down, totally "overslept" the possible str8 which could be lurking there in his hand and guess what? Villain had it! Had overpair and nutflush draw but didn´t get there with the nutflush and called Villains river bet - and my stack went down the drain.

The rest went pretty okay, but thanks to my stupid calls it´s unfortunately -4 $ today.

Guess I have learnt my lesson.... :f_ugly:

Patience, patience!

Oh dear! Let´s hope the worst is now behind me :f_ugly:. One cooler, one suck-out and tons and tons of junk hands and totally missed flops, draws don´t get there... oh well. Not much I can do at the moment. Have a pretty crappy session behind me today, with 3 stacks down: -30 $. Lovely! (x) NOT. :f_ugly: PLO is a rollercoaster and there´s only one thing I can do at the moment: be patient! _thumbsup:
