hi,

I have often spots like this. No reads but pretty stupid raise and I have a hand that basically can only fold if I knew he is trapping. I guess I have to call anyway right?

iPoker - 60/120 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

Hero (SB): 590 (4.9 bb)
BB: 1,510 (12.6 bb)
CO: 790 (6.6 bb)
BTN: 1,910 (15.9 bb)

4 players post ante of 15, Hero posts SB 60, BB posts 120

Pre Flop: (pot: 240) Hero has 5♠: 5♥:
fold, BTN raises to 360, Hero raises to 575, fold, BTN calls 215

Flop: (1,330, 2 players) Q♥: 3♣: T♦:

Turn: (1,330, 2 players) K♠:

River: (1,330, 2 players) 4♠:

Spoiler

Results: 1,330 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: Q♥: 3♣: T♦: K♠: 4♠:

BTN shows K♣: K♥:: (Three of a Kind, Kings)
(Pre 80%, Flop 92%, Turn 100%)

Hero mucks 5♠: 5♥:: (One Pair, Fives)
(Pre 20%, Flop 8%, Turn 0%)

BTN wins 1,330

Well played I think. To bad villain has a monster this time. If you see playing only monsters like this a fold would be better.

Cheers,
