Hi all,
last week I was not able to play much. I'll provide my game report tomorrow.
What is good, that I have spent all my free time reading the articles and hand reviews on the forum.
I went through all the planned articles, but still, I believe I need to review the following: "Ranges & Equity (4): Equity: Final Calls" and "Ranges & Equity (2): Combos & Card Removal" at least a couple more times to really understand them to be able to use it in practice.

So my plan for next week is:

Ranges & Equity (4): Equity: Final Calls

a new week is starting, so here is my report:

Week: 7
Format: NL5 SH
Hands played: 1899
Profit: +$21.07

Overall statistics:
Hands played: 28169
Profit: $121.68
BR: $161.29

This week I played even fewer hands than the last one, but with similar profit
As I already wrote my goal was to finish the processing of the basic articles. As I am enjoying reading articles and watching videos about poker, I will add another activity to the list. Several years back I have bought two books about poker which I will slowly read every time I will take public transport (instead of playing games or social media).

Let's see what is the professional way to deal with tilt

Thank you! When I started playing several years ago I selected Fulltilt without any knowledge. Later on, I found about pokerstrategy and registered to the PokerStars. So now when I returned to poker it was a clear choice, as I really need access to the articles and videos... I hope the silver articles and videos will be enough to reach NL10. Otherwise, it will be very hard for me to reach gold status.

Anyway, good luck on the tables!

yesterday I had the quickest session of my "career". In less than 70 hands I lost almost 3 BI. At least I was able to turn it off

The better news is that I was able to find all the videos from the W34z3l's walkthrough tutorial, which I found very useful!

I am a big W34z3l fanboy, too. Also, the masterclass series is great.
Regarding mental game, I can really recommend Pete Clarke's podcast (while he is also a master in the technical part of the game).

Terrible session yesterday. I was able to play y A-game, but only until river :f_biggrin::f_biggrin::f_biggrin:
I am not sure why, but I always turned off my head on the river and just pushed in the rest of my stack. At least I turned it off after I lost 2 BI due to bad decisions.

I was thinking about those decisions before I went to sleep and came up with a possible solution (at least I hope it will work).
I will set for my self a session goal that I should focus on for the entire session. And of course at the end I will evaluate my performance.
Some examples would be:
focus on river decisions
focus on c-bet play
focus on 3bet play
...

That should keep me focused and hopefully prevent my big mistakes...
I am wondering, do you guys use any kind of session goal mindset strategy?

Oh I am such a newbie. I did not know PokerStars allows players to run the all ins twice... I am going to turn it on asap. This will lower the variance, thus help me to till less!

What about you guys, what is your experience with it?

I don't use it myself except on GGPoker and then only when asked. I don't like it much myself, but the alternative there is "insurance", which is worse. Or just take your chances.

A lot depends on your equity, if you're way ahead, why bother?
Also if you're running it twice from the flop, you have to avoid opponents out s on both turn and river.

Have you checked out PokerStars' cash-out feature?

Hmm, that cash-out feature is even better for lowering the variance. But I assume it will also kill all the fun... I am going to try that, if I understand it correctly, it will be useful to not get a heart attack when too deep getting AI pre flop

Right now I can really use all the help I can get. I am getting buried alive

So cash-out is not available for the client in my country. Anyway, I was able to play 3 sessions today which sounds great, but the results are not :f_biggrin::f_biggrin::f_biggrin:

What's even worse, that I can't really blame it on bad luck.
It looks like the biggest issue is right now my river play where I am insta-calling obviously lost hands probably from frustration...
