There's a whole lot of downswinging going on recently.

Perhaps it is variance's way of saying -- "Get outside and do some gardening!"

Indeed! The weather is getting better and warmer now. Will spend definitely more time outside with sports and gardening. :f_love:

"Yumm! French fries with Jägersoße" (he didn´t see the Schnitzel underneath)

"And the salad doesn´t belong there" (he doesn´t like salad)

Very clearly: BANHAUSER!

There is indeed a schnitzel underneath. :f_wink:

And normally I don't bother with the salad either, but that day, I kinda felt like adding a couple of leaves.

Yeah, right. Either you drown your salad in dressing (Harrier) or you make a huge fuss when it comes to eating a little bit of salad (Homer).

You may as well open a spaghetti blog at this point.
If anyone is interested, here's the best spaghetti tutorial on youtube:

This one?

As I kept telling you, it was WAY too dry. had to add some mayonnaise from my fridge because it didn't come with nearly enough dressing.

@nsavov: Fake video. If you put tomato sauce like that on microwave oven, it will splatter all over the place inside it. Other than that, solid cooking strategy.

I recently tried cooking macaroni in the microwave.
If you use the correct amount of water, and cook for the right amount of time, all the water is absorbed with no excess.

It does require stirring periodically though.
I stir it up once a minute for the first 3 minutes, then every 3 min after that.
Takes around 9 minutes in our microwave, If it's a little soupy you can add another minute or so.

After that you can add whatever you like to it.

Jägersoße anyone?

Things can only get better ...

Hey guys, sorry that I didn´t update my blog for a long time but at the moment I´m stuck in a little motivation crisis. The reason is not only pretty frustrating sessions, but also high work load, customers from hell and fatigue from sports. Fortunately, outdoor tennis is allowed and we restarted tennis about 3 weeks ago. Indoor tennis had been cancelled due to Corona restriction and so, we gotta get into tennis again. Works well, but of course I don´t have the endurance for tennis yet. That´s why I´m often tired from the training and my legs hurt.

During Corona-restrictions I did a lot of other sports, like cycling and Cross Fit. The latter was also very exhausting. So, there was not much energy and not the best mind set for poker. At work, I could finish a couple of very well payed projects which gave us a nice financial boost, but of course were also exhausting. Some customers seem to come directly from hell :f_ugly: and I had a hard time dealing with them but managed. :f_thumbsup: There are some customers who have no clue what to do and you have to pamper and guide them like you do with toddlers :f_ugly:. Others treat you like you were their their slave. :f_o:

There was a lot going on in my life. My parents and Homer already got their vaccines against Corona, I still have to wait, because there´s not enough vaccine here. At the moment we have AstraZeneca, which nobody wants :f_ugly: because of bad side effects. Don´t want that either. :f_mad: Corona restrictions take a toll on the psyche of many people here. They don´t help my mindset either.

So, things can only get better here and I hope I will re-gain my motivation soon :f_thumbsup:

Overcooked or what? _ugly:

Yesterday, we had another awesome gaming session with Harrier, unfortunately the weather was too cold and bad to play ball outside. So, we decide to continue our MarioKart challenges (poor Baby Peach :f_ugly: ) and Harrier introduced to me a new game, in which I do not suck! Of course not! It´s about cooking and I would say that I´m pretty good at cooking and baking _cool:

Harrier approved. Not only that we did pretty good in "Overcooked" but I´m happy to tell you guys, that Harrier liked my "Sorry-cake", which I had mentioned earlier in this blog. For kicking out Harrier I promised him "Sorry cake" (I had promised him that cake anyway, he gave me a cake recipe and I decided to let him try it when I bake that one).

There it is, guys:

I brought Harrier half of this cake, the rest was for Homer and me. And I was happy to hear that Homer liked the cake a lot! Going to bake that one again, for sure!

As for "overcooked": It´s a game of team-cooking. Our characters are cooks who have to prepare and serve certain meals (soup, salads, burgers) within a fixed time frame under difficult circumstances: earth quakes, Armageddon or on a ship for example. And I think we did good! _thumbsup: And I´m sure next time we will be even better! _thumbsup:

The challenges continue ...... tonight with the Troll Freeroll ...

Not exactly a motivation booster ..

As I told you guys, my lack for motivation for poker continues. Yesterday, I played the 2.20 $ PLO and the 2.20 $ PLO8 on Stars and of course the "Troll Freeroll" with Harrier. Briefly told: All three tournaments went poorly. The Troll Freeroll want badly for both of us. Was not motivated to start another tourney and decided to do something else instead. My mindset has been terrible for a while. That´s why I´m taking it slow with poker at the moment.

Not first time I have heard about overcooked. Sound like nice game for co-play.
