I play also on Unibet. if you want tips/help/hand comments let me know. I play NL25 and NL50.
Wow man, this really is impressive!
How many hands have you played at NL5? and NL10?

Thank you! I heard that the NL25 player pool is very nice on Unibet, I can't wait to play there!

I played 198k on NL5 (7,67 bb/100) and 106k on NL10, where my winrate is not as nice, thanks to the 3 or 4 unsuccessfull shots, it is only -1,47 bb/100.
Hey guys!
I missed a few weekly updates from my blog, but since I started poker 1 year ago, it's the perfect time to get back and write about my journey more often.
Last time when I wrote, I moved back to PokerStars and started my biggest downswing I ever had: I lost 24BIs in 12k hands. To be honest I didn't want to post negative stuff. Turning my graph upside down was funny once, but if I have to do it several weeks in a row, it would be boring. That's why I disappeared for a few weeks.
As you see I kind of recovered since that and at the moment I am playing NL16 and NL0 mixed. Of course I ran bad, but I can't only blame variance, I also had some big leaks in my game. I worked a lot on my cbets and playing against cbets as preflop caller (mostly raise flop cbet ranges).
At the moment I am working on my BB game and my low 3bet frequency. They are related to each other, since I call on the BB with hands I should 3bet, so I lose a lot more in this position as I should.
After my big swing, PokerStars reduced the points I need for a chest, so I upgraded from blue chests to silver. Also they gave me an Exclusive Poker Challenge: I had to rake $200 to get $80. I have 8 days left and I raked $140 so far, so it should be a piece of cake to finish the challenge.
Here is my graph since I started to play a year ago:

The graphs look pretty good, really.
Could you improve? Of course, but you're building on strength.
Downswing? What downswing?
That big spike in March looks more like a heater in the middle of a long steady climb.
All the best,
VS
Thank you guys. 2 days after I came back to bloging I was 3 BIs ($45) away from completing the Get rich or die tryin challenge, now I am $200 away......

My graph from today:

That's a tough session. These happen sometimes. I think you've already managed to get through?
Yes I am back on my feet again, thanks for asking! I booked a record winning session literally the next day, I won $56 in an hour.
Graph looks like this at the moment ($1.046,42/$1.100 I have never been closer to finish the challenge before) :

I could climb back this fast, because I completed my Exclusive Poker challenge for $80 on Stars.

PartyPoker offered me a $50 reload bonus, so I wanted to move there to clear it. However PokerStars gave me the same challenge again as before: rake $200 for $80 back in 27 days, so I decided to stay there and grind it out again.

It took longer than I expected, but I was very happy about finishing the challenge. Also I climbed NL2 to NL10 twice, so I am ok with that.

I took some money out, so my actual bankroll was only $621 when I finished my challenge.
What is up nowadays?
At the moment I am playing NL10 and NL16 mixed. After completing the Esclusive Poker Challenge, I decided to stay at PokrStars (more of that later), so I am playing 4 tables on Starts and 2 on Unibet. 3rd shot so far:

Only played 2k hand in 2 weeks, because I only sit to NL16 if I see a good table.
Short term goals
Stepping to NL25
I have to requirments to do a 5BI shot on NL25: Have at least 25BIs for NL25 and beating NL10(+16) with at least 5bb/100 on a 25k hands sample. I dropped a few BIs after I completed the BR challenge, at the moment I am at $574, so the first requirement is close.
Exclusive Poker challenge
Completing Exlusive Poker Challenge on PS. I got a new challenge right after finished the previous one. The new one has the same terms and conditions: rake $200 for $80 back in 27 days.

After 11 days I am a little bit behind, but it will be easy to finish in time.
Long term goals
After I finished the Get rich or die tryin' chellenge I needed a new, big goal. I decided that it will be going semi-pro in poker. By semi-pro I only mean I will withdraw money regularly.
In order to need that I want to play on NL25 and have at least $1.000 BR. After I got there my plan is to withdraw half of my earnings. Let's see how much time I will need to achieve this one!
I will write weekly updates in my blog, like I had to to in the bankroll challenge before.
See you on next Monday!
Congratz to you accomplished BR-Challenge, I sometimes followed your record in the challenge (despite it was a little hard for me to understand the entries..).
Did you mean withdrawing half of your bankroll (500$) or half of the earnings you win playing a month of NL25?
Spoiler
I cannot recommend the first..

Maybe it was a bit confusing. It was more like a winning challenge, not a bankrol challenge for me, that's why I wrote how much I withdraw (mainly for study materials). So my winnings (actual bankroll and withdrawn money) was $1.100 together.

It's a good advice! My plan is to keep the $1k bankroll to play on NL25 and than withdraw half of my earnings in every month.
Thanks for hoping in GL for your challenge!
Week 1
Hands played: 10.694
Net won: -$49,59
Bankroll: $524,49
Winrate (25k hands): -2,29bb/100 (
)
Only thing I can be satisfied with is my volume.
1. Step to NL25
Need 4 more BIs, need a lot better winrate for 5bb/100. I am winning on Unibet and losing more on Stars. I only can show my graph from Stars.

I was around break-even, than Sunday kicked in. I am running 6 BIs below EV in May, but I can't say that's the only reason I am losing. I post my stats from May, maybe you can spot a leak which I didn't found yet.

Please don't tell me, that my biggest leak is my negative winrate, because I know about that one ![]()
3bet frequency is up from around 5%. Also I am working to reduce my calling range (I play 3bet or fold from MP and CO versus regulars open, and only call against fishes).
Also my loss rate from BB is enormous, I have to cut it to half at least. If you can spot a leak there, I will be grateful.
2. NL16 shot

I played more hands that my previous graph had together. You can see, that's where Sunday kicked in the most. I couldn't win showdowns (WSD droped below 40%).
3. Exclusive Poker Challenge

9 days left from 27, so I should be at 66,66%. I am clos, so nothing to worry about. Plan is to finish the challenge this week.
4. Study time
I will track my play and study time this week, the goal is to use the 1/3 of my poker time to improve my game.
GL for everyone!
I think there is some indication that you are overfolding. WWSF seems a little low and fold to flop CBet is very high.
To help identify stats a little better. I think it would be useful to have fold to Flop bet, fold to T bet and Fold to R bet stat as well as / instead of Fold to "street" Cbet.
The fold to Cbet stat doesn't cover folds to probes, folds to stabs etc.
Same with your aggression. As well as seeing Cbet for each street if you add Flop bet, turn bet and river bet. You get to see % for all types of betting opportunity.
Your cbets seem pretty aggressive which is good, so potentially you are not being aggressive enough with the other bet opportunities

Hey SiKWiThIt!
Thank you for the tips, I added those stats immediately!
My flop cbet was way higher before, but I I worked on my raise cbet range. As you see, it is only 10,70 ATM, so my ranges still need some modification. In the end I will put some of the hands from my fold to cbet range to raise cbet range.
Also I hope you will update your blog soon, because I enjoyed reading all the stories you wrote before!
I am done with poker.

For this week
I finished my goals earlier this week, so I decided to catch the first train and joinn my family at lake Balaton for sailing a bit today ![]()
I will write about the week in details on Monday, but here are the results:

Nice -- It doesn't look like I'm going to get my $80 this time around.
I have 4 days to go and I'm only 60% done, and I don't want to play NL 100 just to try for a bonus.
Enjoy your week of sailing -- pix please!
I had to look up Lake Balaton -- what a beautiful place!
Cheers,
VS
