NL 20 - Thin val spot?

seems reasonable, but i'd rather raise the turn.
wouldn't go too crazy, because villain can still have a better 9, but you do want to raise somewhere

If I would raise the turn i would make it at around half pot. So that would be more than $1. As played I would just call the river. it will be tough to get to much value and you beat only a bluff.

I would prefer I think a stab on the flop even in a multi way pot, both SB and BB are pretty wide and it is a dry unconnected board, being IP.

Possibly double barrel when you pick up the 9 on the turn, then check and give rivers and try and get to showdown.

I agree with mkBISCUIT, we should c-bet this flop, even multiway. It's such a dry board and the opponents have such a wide range that they will often be check/folding this flop. When we get called, it's often by 1 opponent and we have plenty of good turn cards that we can continue barreling on (A, K, T, J, 9, 8, 6, Diamond). Playing this in position makes this so much easier as well.

As played, I just call the river. You have to ask yourself, what worse hands is he calling with when we raise? I doubt he's calling with 7x and there aren't many combos of 9x that we beat. And if he is calling with 7x, then I prefer raising the turn. We're in position and he will often check 1 pair hands to us on the river after getting raised on the turn. At that point, we can decide if we want to go for thin value or check back to realize our equity.

I just don't see many hands that we beat here. We lose to every pair he had on the turn, except 7x and a very small selection of 9x (assuming he's even calling with 93, 94, 95, 96). We're just targeting a VERY small range of hands here. It seems way too thin to raise for value, most of the time we are just value owning ourselves.

I like a bet on the flop, you have backdoor potential for flushes and straights, on the turn when villain min bets you say he does this with his marginal made hands and junk. I mean if he's as straight-forward about splitting his ranges I would raise the turn and extract value assuming your ahead of most of his range given your reads combined with the fact that you say hes a calling station. As played on the river I think you played it good. If he has a 2 I would adjust your reads since you said he pots with his premium hands.
