I didn't know much about villain, only he was a reg and was playing 36 VPIP.
The check/raise on the flop made me realize he had a T and wanted to build the pot, another combo draw like my hand was unlikely because I had it and maybe he had KQ or KJ.
Now on turn, I still felt he was most likely with the T here.
Then on the river after I got my hand I was prepared for a check/call.
But since he checked I thought he only had the T here or the K and I value betted my straight.
Then he did that weird check/raise on the river that I wasn't expecting at all.
It didn't feel good, but after much thought I ended up calling anyways, because my initial read was that he had the T and maybe he could that move on the river with other T's besides KT, or AT, or T8.
But is that a good assumption? or was I totally dead in that spot?
How would you have played the hand?
