over the course of completing this challenge, i used all my 3 pokerstars player image changes and all of them were ignored (no approval or denial). unlucky.

also unlucky: i got over 2400 strategypoints, forgot that the count resets at the beginning of the month lol
[edit: it hadn't counted day 31 yet :f_biggrin:]

the challenge run is nearing the end, but the cooler gods haven't been kind throughout this whole ordeal.
today's count: 5 against, 1 for :f_biggrin:

we're done! challenge graph (NL25, NL16 and a little bit of NL50):

my evaluation of this run's luck:
- favour from the flipping gods: very good
- coolers: very bad
- small-medium pots: good

all in all, probably a close to average run, in my opinion.
most of this was played 4-tabling while tired in reg hours, so i'm quite satisfied :)

Congratulations!

I'm curious -- how much of the winning came from pots of less than 10BB, and pots of 10-20BBs, 20-50 and greater than 50?

I don't have enough hands to analyse in Hold'em, but in other variants, most of my winnings come from small pots -- big pots I'm not doing so well.

Cheers,
VS

good winnings <7BB, then losses until the pot size is about <50BB and then i win big, which makes sense according to what i know about my style :f_biggrin:

if stars wants me to play more, they know what to do :)

looks like a nice 60k hand run 4.86/100 bb adjusted all-in and above 5/100bb. :f_drink: wish my week of 7k hands this week looked like that. :f_biggrin:

in previous years, i had over 6 EVBB/100 on NL25 but 4.86 is well within the realms of normality.

i don't often call 2x pot overbets with an 1-card hand that's not the nuts, but against spewy-looking reg types i have to make an exception :)

:f_biggrin:
it's unlikely that he's repping any sets having raised when 4th of a flush comes, and in fact i still have a few sets in this line.

i tried to understand his thought process. he probably decided that my turn betsizing looked weak and i don't have enough Ax in my range, and thus tried to represent the hand that i have :f_biggrin:
villain's line is polarized and i have the nuts, so he must be bluffing and it doesn't make sense to re-raise the turn. however, we can attempt to increase the odds of villain following on the river by taking some time, to pretend we have a tough decision.
river play just follows his narrative that i'm weak and can't call the overbet :)

Yea, printing money snap call, his raise OTT excludes all sets, so he's just fish maniac donating money:). His call OTF is pretty horrible too:). Lucky you:)

standard-looking reg over a small sample.
it's probably a slam dunk theory call (though we do have AQ A4 QQ AA), but i just don't see this guy showing up with enough bluffs in practice? i'm expecting mainly AQ QQ for value, and i don't think that many people are check/raising some JT and then jamming that turn card?

villain is some standard reg, he used to spew a lot with zero equity a few years ago, but nowadays it seems that he's actually turned into a nit. of course he has the fucking kings, at least we manage to suck out.

well, whatever, shit happens. same thing would happen if i had the kings, there are still some recs in the pool, let's fucking go.

River: (45.72 BB, 2 players) A♥
SB bets 56.88 BB and is all-in, ...

it's fucking JKo, isn't it? he can have hit some worse two-pair on the ace, though, or maybe he's just making things up.

Hero calls 56.88 BB

SB shows 2♦ 5♦ (Straight, Five High)
(Pre 39%, Flop 31%, Turn 16%)
Hero shows A♣ Q♥ (Two Pair, Aces and Queens)
(Pre 61%, Flop 69%, Turn 84%)
SB wins 152.32 BB

i definitely hadn't considered that one

so, what's the takeaway from that session?
there is none.

fucking trash garbage ass whore poker month
i've already exceeded my whining quota, so i'll leave it at that. and there'd sure be a lot to whine about, believe me.

my longest breakeven stretch ever has been about 80k hands, if i'm recalling it right. it's very difficult to have big downswings when you have a sizable edge :f_biggrin:

This might be a silly question, but why would you run it twice?
