Hey Lahti, thanks for the kind words. I'm going to try and become more consistent. Lets say at least 1 a month =p.

As for your stats, I can see what I suspected. Your cbet stats seem reasonable. But your overall Turn (27) and River Bet (25) stats seem pretty low. I checked mine for 2021 so far and my turn bet and river bet are on about 46 and 42. And I actually think my River bet of 42 is a bit too low for my liking. My goal is to get it up to 46

For your low stats it could be that a) you are not going for value enough or b) you are not bluffing enough. My 1st assumption will be that it is b).
If you have access to videos/content where you can study turn and river aggression. That would be a good place to start.

Enjoy your week of sailing -- pix please!

I had to look up Lake Balaton -- what a beautiful place!

Cheers,

Agree, never a good idea to jump up stakes only for a promotion.

I don't have a lot of pictures, but here's one on our way to the port:

Thank you, that's a godo idea! I will look for some study materials about the topic you suggested! :f_drink:

Week 2:
:diamond: Hands played: 12.273
:diamond: Net won: $135,60
:diamond: Bankroll: $660,09 (New peak!)
:diamond: Winrate (25k hands): 0,15bb/100

1. Step to NL25

My roll is ready, winrate is far (but at least it is positive now :f_biggrin: )

2. NL16 shot

Nothing interesting happened here. I heard that NL16 on Stars is a bit weird limit and the player pool is more difficult to beat than on NL25. Is it true or only the regs tell that who can't beat NL16? :f_rolleyes:

3. Exclusive poker challenge

Since I finished the challenge, Unibet will be my main room and I will play Stars when there isn't traffic there.

4. Study time

It's a fail for the week. I did not track my study time (only till wednessday...). I played 18 hours and I am sure I didn't study for 9. It seems like my biggest leak is that I don't study enough when I run good.

Thank you, Tomaloc! I can't wait to see what are the differences between NL10/16 and 25? :f_cool:

Don't forget to try sajtos tejfölös lángos :f_thumbsup: ALso next time you will be in Hungary, you have to look for a better beer, because Arany Ászok is one of the worst. (from the tap is drinkable, especially on the beach) :f_drink:

I agree, it's a very relaxing way to spend your free time. On the lake Balaton motorboats are banned (only police, ambulance, water taxis can use them and sailboats within 200m from the port) so it is more calm and quiet there.

I asked my cousin to make a better picture for you, here it is:

P.S.: Excuses us for the dirty boat, it's under renovation.

You are right, one of my favorite places to spend my weekends. Fortunately I have to travel only 1,5-2 hours from Budapest to lake Balaton.

Week 3:
:diamond: Hands played: 15.655
:diamond: Net won: +$164,73
:diamond: Bankroll: $778,82 (WIthdraw $40 for coaching group)
:diamond: Winrate (25k hands): 4,37bb/100 with NL16 and 6,95bb/100 only NL10

1. Step to NL25

I booked an other solid week and I have a new BR peak again. I ran incredibly well, 11BIs over EV. It looks like I was lucky, but just a little reminder: I finished May 9BIs under EV, so it is more like a correction. All in all roll is ready. Winrate was over 5 without NL16, where I run quite bad. Since I have $180 bonus coming in this month, I decided to go for my first NL25 shot next week. It will be a 10BI shot and I will reduce my number of tables to 4. Wish me luck! :f_thumbsup:

2. Promotions

Stars had cash game leaderboards for a few weeks, which will end tomorrow. It based on luck only and they counted the first 300 hands on the limit, it was more like lottery. I decided to play some NL2Z and NL5Z to play on evers leaderboard from NL2 to NL16. On NL2 the first place worth $50 and on NL5 it worth $100. It was a good decision, because I won my biggest prize ($10) on NL5 leaderboard. Altogether I won $31,3 from this promotion, so I liked it. Also I made 6 BIs on NL5Z and lost only $10 on NL2Z. :profit:

Other promotion I decided to took part on was Exclusive Poker challenge. Yes, PokerStars offered me the same challenge ($80 cash for $200 rake) 3rd time in a row. I knew I will move up this month, so it will be a piece of cake. Almost 25% is done already.

3. Study time

Some progress here from last week: I could track my study/play time from the whole week. However I am not satisfied. I spent 22 hours with playing and only 8 with studiing. It is far from 2/3 1/3 ratio. I just realized that I need donswings sometimes, because I work a lot harder on my game when I am running bad. Confusing, right?

4. Other stuff I am proud of

I could upgrade my chests from silver to gold. It means that the EV of a chest is changed from $3 ti $10 and for me it cost only 2,5 times more than a silver one: 7500 points.

5. Hands

I tagged a bunch of crazy hand this week, so I will filter them to the best 4-5 later and post them, stay tuned!

Hello all!

I missed 2 weekly updates, because I discovered a new leak of mine: I don't like to write into my blog if things aren't going forward.

Week 4-6:
:diamond: 17.233 + Unibet
:diamond: Winrate: -0,37bb/100
:diamond: Net won: -$28,94
:diamond: Bankroll: $749,88

1. NL25 shot

2. Promotions

I completed Pokerstars Exclusive Poker challenge for $80 a few days ago and an other promotion for $100. That helped to cover my losses on NL16 (which was 11BIs).

Just to post some nice things as well, here is my all time graph:

I just read my hungarian blog from 2014-2015. It felt nice to see how big is difference between my game now and then. That's why I opened my blog, so I will write at least one weekly update from now on.

Here we go again

PokerStars offered me the same challnge 4th time in a row, so I will grind with 40% rakeback for sure in July as well :f_drink:

At the moment I have some money on ACR, where I have 27% flat rakeback. Together with the first deposit bonus it is 41,6% rakeback, like on PokerStars.
