Another little ITM in PLO

Yesterday, I didn´t play Micro Millions (11 $ for an MTT is a little bit too much for my BR), but played the 2.20 $ PLO (PKO) and could make another ITM with 2 KOs. Played the 2.20 $ PLO8 (PKO) too but was totally card-dead there. And even tried something new: Played the 1.10 $ HORSE, just to try it out. It was nice and interesting to play HORSE. Just for fun. Harrier and I decided to skip the Troll Freeroll yesterday due to fatigue and I had to concentrate on HORSE. Couldn´t cash in HORSE, neither in PLO8 but at least in PLO I could manage to get a nice result, even though it was only a little ITM. ♠_ugly:

Successful cooking challenge!

Besides poker, Harrier decided to make a little "cooking challenge" - will his cooking be Primrose-approved? We decided to make Burritos, I had bought glutenfree Tortillas and had made Guacomole. Harrier made the fillings.

Of course Harrier-cuisine cannot be without Banhauser. Look at the right! There´s the cheese! Burritos with cheese! BANHAUSER!

I didn´t choose to put cheese in my Burrito, put some meat in it with salad, tomatoes, jalapenos and different sauces.

and this is Harriers Banhauser-version:

Besides the Banhauser-cheese I would say: cooking challenge successful! Primrose-approved! ♠_biggrin:♠_cool:

As far as I'm concerned, putting shredded cheese on burritos is absolutely standard - I'd even say it's one of the more important fillings. Please back me up here, guys... Prim won't believe me.

I'm glad you approve of my cooking, though. Burritos are sort of one of my specialties, and Prim is not really familiar with them, I believe (hence her unsupported theories about those fillings), so it was great as a first meal for me to cook for her. Of course I love our usual takeout meals too, but cooking with you was a lot of fun, and since you brought some ingredients yourself, it was almost a bit like a pot luck.

Takeout will always work for our next meetups, but I have a lot of ideas for our next "cooking challenges" too, this should be loads of fun.

I'm foursquare in favour of shreddy cheese on burritos.
But then, I'm a known Banhauser.

I put shreddy cheddar on lots of things. Vegetables, toast, you name it.

It is really yummy heated a wee bit under a broiler or even in a microwave

i put cheese on it - had hoped for a schnitzel-version, but the burrito looked quite normal

That's because it is. Prim just doesn't know the optimal way of filling a burrito. That's okay, though, I pretty much introduced her to that kind of dish anyway. And she does make some nice guacamole.

Thanks for helping me out here, guys! I knew I was right.

Btw, seeing that picture of all the ingredients up close made me realize how well that minced beef turned out that day. I've dealt with far worse before when I made some for myself alone.

Prim's strange aversion to so many cheese combos makes me wonder, though...

Looking forward to her reply tomorrow, should be interesting.

Nope. But sometimes you do need cheese on burgers and sometimes you don´t.

I usually order the burger without cheese, since most places here use "processed cheese" which should be Banned(hauser).
If they have real cheddar, or even mozza, then sure cheese is fine.

I also do M -- but in my case it usually means I got cheese on my t-shirt

Fair enough, though I'd say that more often than not. putting cheese on burgers is a good idea.

I don't visit burger places often anymore, but I've never had problems with whatever it is that they call cheese. Most of the time, I'm now making burgers myself, in which case I can use the real thing anyway.

I can´t stand that artificial cheese either. In Germany it´s called "Analog-Käse" ("cheese analogue"). It´s made from some plant oils and I don´t know what on eath but has nothing to do with cheese.

The stuff here has no cheese at all and has nothing to do with cheese. Plant oils and tons of additives. It´s like Surimi. The total trash which accumulates in fish industry, with some additives. I have to admit that I like Surimi This may be the teeny tiny little Banhauser in me.

I have had it before -- several times in it's "imitation crab" form.
In that form it is tasty in salads, but doesn't cook well at all, and is rather bland on it's own.

I've had Surimi before, mostly as a topping for home-made sushi. I kinda agree with Vorpal, I thought it had a relatively bland taste.

Haven't heard that term before, honestly.

But I got a new pack of cheese today, which may be a lot like the processed cheese Vorpal described, if not the exact same thing.

It contains 35% cheese, according to the ingredients list...
