Not sure if this is played ok i think the flop can go either way with a cbet or check. But the turn ? i doubt i have much fold equity so shoving doesn't seem like a great idea.And folding doesn't seem like a great option either (maybe im wrong) do you call or fold ?.
Folding the nut FD OTT is not an option IMO. X/r is definitely possible, especially to balance your value x/r range, which is not that important on NL2. So I would say a call is fine.
As you already mentioned, you can cbet OTF as well, especially with the BD FD.

FLOP - Likely c-betting here.
TURN - depends on villain... if I think a bet would win it here, I would bet and be happy to take it down. If I think he is calling or someone who bets/raises scary boards then I would check-call instead for pot control and see what the river brings.
RIVER - check-fold.
Balance you're range on NL2 isn't necessary I think, but most of the time I would Cbet flop and slowdown the turn when I hit the draw. I don't think a semi bluff will work to often on NL2 after the call on flop.
In this case I would check to the aggressor on the turn and hoping on a free river. With 9 outs for a flush you will hit it 19,6% of the time and only if you're over cards are lifet a call would be mathematical correct.

I am more likely to cbet the flop, check the turn and folding the river.
In NL2, try check/fold with over cards, when there is no other draw. Sometimes you hit a top pair on the turn, however, it is not always a winning hand and you're still OOP.
Just give up this small pot from OOP and wait for a better spot. You are left from the villain. Tell him that you're a weak player who folds to float bet so often, and trap him.

I agree that Hero's range does certainly contain the hands you are mentioning: overpairs (30 combos), pocket 99's and 77's (6 combos), but will likely also contain suited 9x hands (15 combos), and maybe A7s & A2s (6 combos) = about 60 combos that hit.
BTN's 3-bet calling range likely includes the 3 pocket pairs (99, 77, 22 - for 9 combos), suited 9x (18 combos), some suited 7x (11 combos), maybe A2s and 76s (6 combos) = about 45 combos that hit.
Of course my ranges might be off a bit, but including all the other hands in both players ranges, I'm estimating that this flop hits both ranges fairly evenly (maybe better for Hero), and is certainly not terrible in my opinion.
