Did some yoga this morning again and went jogging. I feel like such an old man, last time I went running in the morning was like 10 years ago Now I'm 30years old with beard and long hair and 2 children... Feeling like old school sports :)

So I was watching this Phil Galfond vid about downswings on YouTube. Interesting thoughts... I don't know man... "crush NL5 and you would still live so well in India?" sooo in love with the game.

Interesting betsizing on the river... both from me and from him. I guess he is like: "I don't want to risk too much but he showed weakness by betting so small..." And I'm like: "he's thinking like that." Would he have shoved I couldn't call...

I kind of found a good way to track my progress... it is looking at hours/month to know and see where I stand at. Coaches of poker keep telling me to "try it out at least a year" and "don't move up fast". This is also what I feel inside when playing, so thank you very much.

So here are the hours (I played online poker in a month):

Year 2021

May: 12 hours
June: 36 hours
July: 10 hours
August: 11 hours
September: 19 hours

I am a winning player for sure, it is just that results are a bit swingy, and I need a better foundation for tracking, I don't know if you understand. For me the practice, motivation, willpower, amount of concentration, how good you feel, confidence, happiness, peacefulness, calmness, passion, stability - this is like the real aim, of course along with increasing the skills in poker.

There are people who tell that you need ~100k hands sample to see if you are a winning player at all or not. This cannot be true. Think of live players for example. So anyway I am happy with what I am doing, and it is a new month! :)

This is the best post ever... lol

Keep up the yoga ang jogging my friend... it doesn't get easier as you get older (as I'm finding out) so it's super important to keep at it now.

quite happy... had a tough opp in FL10c huhu but managed to find out his playstyle and leaks... you know huhu (FL HU) when there's a lagfishy opp and you hit a losing strike for like 20 hands... but the opp seems weak. very educational

again played long FLHU10c vs one aggro guy. i think it is so worth it... experience, person reading, hand reading, confidence and I believe I was even winner at the table vs him... got it to break even in the end he making so many mistakes. like this 10BB up and down swings can be discouraging vs aggro fish HU we don't really know if we have the edge, rake and everything. the thing is, if they lose, they start to play worse... and 3rd person sometimes joins cause it's a 6max table. I like it. very educational and makes you to pay full attention. how exactly to beat them...

tried some PLO today for few hands. it went 3way in on the flop, I had Khi flushdraw plus OESD, other guy had Ahi flushdraw and third guy had middle set. So I somehow hit my straight and won $3 in PLO2 I don't have tracker for PLO but it's quite fun.

I only play FL HE as part of HORSE and 8-Game, however vs fish or no fish, I don't think I could fold that river.

- you have perceived no showdown value (well you have but that is probably one lucky shot)
- thus the only way of winning the hand is to bluff
- would your opponent fold better hands? SURE! often enough to make a 2 BB bet worth it? I believe so
=> you should have bet the river with every value hand and every hand lower than King high, unless you have 2 spades in which case i'd only bluff Ten high and less

Nice.
For some oddball reason, Skrill won't let Canadians use their service for withdrawing/depositing on gaming sites.

I can't use credit cards either, but I can make deposits and withdrawals directly from a bank account.

Doesn't make sense at all -- but then, most government rules don't make sense -- we just have to obey 'em

I love Skrill a lot and Stars seems to prefer it over other options .
