Today was a pretty decent day, managed to ship a 2.20$ freezeout tournament at stars for 168$ finish!
Overall the pool was pretty soft, started the Final table as one of the short stacks(had 19BB), managed to double up very first hand TT vs 77's. Overall I think I played pretty well during FT, picked my spots to bluff and got a bit lucky as well :).
After winning this hand vs the only reg at FT, it was mine to loose it.

Rest of the two players, played pretty face up, folded too much vs 3bets pre and over all played pretty much face up, so wasn't a hard FT by any means.
This is the 3rd 1st place finish of my MTT career, previous first place finish were bigger 5.50$ for 1100$ish and 2.20$ bounty builder for 900$.
Obviously no where near my biggest cash ever, but first place finish is nothing to sneeze at. So far this week has been pretty good as well, in terms of results and volume.
As I mentioned before, I wont be playing on Friday/Saturday, but will put in a long session on Sunday to complete my volume goal of this week and hopefully for some more deep runs. I will post an update on Monday with full results of this week!

Overall I played well till Sunday, on Sunday it was just not my day, where I made lots of stupid mistakes and that's why I'm ending up the week is losses. Not too concerned about having a loosing week. Just got to keep studying hard and results will be there in no time

Very happy with the volume this week and also the way I played for most of my sessions. Obviously I still made some mistakes that cost me here and there, but overall the study I've put in last few weeks was starting to show off good results, which I'm really happy about! I still didn't run as good as I could this week, as I busted on a few FT bubbles when I was 70/30 or 80/20 favorite, which sucks, but that's just how poker is sometimes.
I had a few deep runs, where I reached FT 4 times this week, but couldn't finish any higher than in 6th position unfortunately.

Since I'm still just a micro stakes player, study is crucial for my improvement. Preflop study's are the easiest ones, as I have all the materials I need, I just got to keep going through by my self and run simulations with ICMizer. However the postflop study is the hard part, as when I'm doing my hand review in some spots I don't know what the correct/best play would be and then I have to seek for other people view. I do weekly coaching sessions with my coach when we go through some of my hands, but you can cover only so much in one hour, that it just gives me a brief idea of how the thought process should be. Hey guys! Had a very good week until Sunday, where I lost 170$ in buy ins. Just wasn't my day at all, was loosing AK<AQ, a lot of flips didn't went my way and also lost AA vs QQ/KK and KQs. Still happy about the way I played for most part, so ending a week in profit of +287 even with the massive downswing on Sunday. Also added 2 trophy's to my collection last week which felt really good as there's been a while since I finished first
Also created a study group with like minded people who are also serious about improving at MTT's and I'm happy we are having active discussion at discord server as well. It's very useful to get other people insight on tough spots I find my self in my regular schedule, so really helpful to analyze these spots together.
Also I start to feel improvement since I've been studying preflop ranges for the past few weeks, as I have much better idea about which hands I want to play in certain positions and at certain stack depths, which does give me bigger edge on population at my limits. Obviously still a long way to go, as mastering these ranges can easily take a year if not even more. So that's something I'll have to keep studying hard, but I'll add in some other concepts for post flop play more often now.

If you have wrote down a structured plan for your stakes you will be playing, it's more likely you will follow this plan. For sure! I play for a stable and they take care of my carreer plan/BRM very nicely, but I think I should do more on this side and discuss more about it. I am writting down my first post to introduce myself better and discuss those things about our carreer, such as routine, habits, etc. Hope it gets some nice responses and engadgement. Cheers!

Are you playing cash games or MTT's? Also if you don't mind me asking, under which stable do you play?

Hey man, I play MTTs for Poker Detox for around a year. It's a really nice and organized team. Will dig into it deeper when I post my first journal. Haven't seen many MTTs blogs here, do you know some?

Oh that's nice, what limits are you playing your self? How serious you are into the MTT grinding and what volume do you usually push for?

I'm currently playing a ~$55 ABI, playing around 400 games/month. I value a lot game quality so I don't grind that many tables at a time and have my study and break days really holy for me so my grinding days won't be that heavy.
