It wasn't the best start of the week, but two wins in one day sealed the deal ![]()

And actually I was going for a hattrick, but my red T♥:T♦: didn't hold against A♠:4♠: for a chiplead pot at the Final Table, The Zodiac Ox ![]()

So now I can again increase the Buy-in range of the tournaments, allowing me to play 40$ games, with maybe some shots at 50$ level. The risk is that my style is very aggro, and probably too aggro, especialy nearing the bubble or Final Table phase, so I can hurt my bankroll if aggression doesn't work. But if it works.. Then I can expect some nice victories again

Well, that was my best week of the year
And according to Sharkscope, my ability jumped to rating of 82.
Best victory came on Thursday as I shipped a 22$ tournament. Fun fact, that was my 2nd win of the same tournament in 8 days, and once I finished 3rd in between. Definitely my favorite tournament for now ![]()

However, it wasn't the biggest score of the week. On Sunday night I got deep into the biggest tournament at GG, Global Millions (Probably same as Sunday Million on PokerStars). Finishing 52 from almost 20k entrants is not bad ![]()

It could have been even better but my A♣:J♦: didn't hold pre against K♣:J♣: on the last hand
King on the Turn was not a card I wanted to see..

With this kind of luck, I wonder maybe I should enter some of the Bracelet WSOP events. Fish on a heater definitely has a chance

A quiet week with no huge scores or big downswings. The Buyin stake increased which means the opposition is getting tougher so once again I have to adapt to those crushers
At the moment my graph at sharkscope looks like this.

So no 10k euros mark yet

Hello my friends
The hot summer days are over and usually it is the time when poker games get back from holidays as well. In pandemic times I'm not sure how much of holidays we got, but for sure, the games traffic should be on the raise. Now let's see how my year was so far and what can it offer in the close future ![]()
1. 5 Big Live events

Not much of satellites into Live events from PokerStars or Natural8, so my 1st Live festival comes in my own country - The Fisherman Challenge. It starts in 2 weeks for another 2 weeks action. Main Event 250€ with multiple day 1 options and some side events ranging from 125€ to 1250€. It's been a while since I touched physically cards so I can't wait for this festival to start ![]()
2. Play 10k games of Spins at 100$ level and reach 45 ChipEV

As I switched myself to tournaments, this goal will stay as it is. Half a point ![]()
3. Reach Final Table in Sunday Million

This is the equivalent of Sunday Million at GG Masters. Still far away from Final Table, but at least my first cash here ![]()
4. Update Trophy board or ship Major MTT online event

Well, I've got 2 Zodiacs from 12 already
I was very close to getting the Rat, but unfortunately my hands didn't hold at the Final Table.

I was chipleading with 5 players left and when I got pocket Queens. The guy in 2nd place got pocket Jacks and we went Allin preflop. Jack on the Turn was a gin card for him unfortunately. I still managed to get into HeadsUp, take again the chiplead, get in good preflop Allin, but same story with a bad beat appeared ![]()

The last hand was something of a flip, but probably like a 95% for him that day ![]()

5. Study poker 360 hours
January - 24 hours
February - 25 hours
March - 29 hours
April - 24 hours
May - 21 hours
June - 9 hours
July - 44 hours
August - 41 hours
After 35 weeks, the hours number is 217 in total. With this pace the goal looks like very beatable. I just have to make sure my motivation doesn't disappear in the final days ![]()
6. Buy land, equip solar system and build sauna

Nothing to be updated here. Just like Lithuania's National Football stadium, it just can't move from a starting point ![]()
7. Reach 20k XPoints on French Duolingo and climb to B1 level from A2

Probably it will be my first completed goal, hopefully in the early December. Also I've reached the 1st checkpoint, something similar like getting into 2nd year in school ![]()

8. Get promoted with Top Kickers into League III

In last 5 matches we got 4 victories and 1 draw, what allowed us to move up in the table. Today we have the most important match with 1st place holders and if we can somehow grab a win, we will have all the chances not only to win a promotion but also win the league as well
The teams are very close in positions, so every point is super valuable ![]()
9. Read 12 books
"Many Sons Have Fallen Dead" by Adolfas Ramanauskas Vanagas
"The secret life of Salvador Dali", by himself
"The Football Manager Guide to Football Management" by Iain Macintosh
"The unmumsy mum" by Sarah Turner
"The Fate of the Good Soldier Švejk during the World War" by Jaroslav Hašek
"Poker satellite strategy" by Dara O'Kearney with Barry Carter
Still on the same books as before. The problem (actually not a problem) is that Švejk's book is almost 1000 pages long so it takes time to read it all. And as you know already, time is not the thing that I have too much ![]()
10. Live a happy and meaningful life

I want to travel! Says my daughter and I couldn't agree more
All the best to all in the Autumn!

After a long winning streak, I came to a losing one. No harsh feelings as it should have happened at some time. Couple of deep runs, however just a few final tables and not much luck in those. Usually I'm very happy when I get dealt Aces twice in a row, but not so happy when they are cracked both times preflop
To the same opponent
In a Final Table of Zodiac Horse ![]()

Hopefully all the good luck strikes back this week
But... but you forgot to update us on how it went vs the first in the league?
Kind of far away in points though anyway, right? Only the first one gets promoted?
Here you are
Another 2 wins (Against the league leaders as well) and now we are in the Top3. The regulations is that 3 teams get promoted, so we are just right there
5 matches left and next week its a crucial game against Position No 2 ![]()

Good day grinders! Another small step towards to goals ![]()

Looks like a breakeven period with some small income from bonuses. And the biggest prize of a week was this:

As for this week, I won't be playing much online as finally I'm going to play some Live events in my country. Already made buy-ins for 2 different tournaments so fingers crossed for some luck

Not much of a step forward, but at least a step forward
however, it's now like 200 games breakeven period, exactly the month ![]()

So am I playing badly or running badly? Usually it's the mix of both, but this time I want to show some hands from one tournament, a 52$ Bounty tournament. If you watch some poker shows (In this instance PokerCode Streamhouse), you will notice my opponent was one of those heroes ![]()

So 1st hand, a shove from AQ pre, SB reshoves AK and I have an easy call with K♦:K♣: At least I get a bounty from a Big stack ![]()

Hand 2. Opening Kings from early position and again easy call after SB rejams his 99. 9♣: on the River ![]()

Hand 3 is a tricky one. UTG had only 0,5BB and that always creates some crazy dynamics. So he puts it all UTG with 6♦:5♥: and I prepare a trap with my T♥:T♣: Then SB shoves 8BB with A♦:2♥: and our friend ships 35BB with K♦:T♦:. What a nice spot for me to grab 3 bounties as all are dominated! Unless..

And last hand exactly on the bubble..
This time it is our friend who traps me by limping UTG with A♥:J♥: A nice hand but behind my A♦:Q♦: which I shove for 17BB. Snap call and snap out of the tournament as the board sends J♣:

There are some jokes that PokerStars are distributing more good hands to their ambassadors, seems like the same is on GG

So it might look that it was a bad week
However, I was very happy with it, because of..

Before Sunday grind I took a look into PokerStrategy News section and I saw that PokerStars finally organize an event in Europe. So why not give it a try? 1st bullet and a package to EPT Prague National event is already in the pocket
Festival begins in the middle of December, and for me Prague is the most beautiful city before Christmas. Hopefully no Covid related cancelations as those Live stops is really a thing I miss a lot

Yeah, not the best week as I melted my bankroll a little. PokerStars has a new Reward system, so I thought I give it a try again at the Spins. How did it go?

As you can see, there was a huge difference between expected winnings (around 1800$) and actual loses of -1300$. 28 Buyins on variance, not much luck I guess
However, I was very happy with my own play - at thirst I thought I will struggle to keep a good ChipEV after such a long break but 58 chips in 420 is actually one of the best results this year
If I can keep same figure this week, hopefully both expected and actual graphs will be positive
Hi mate,
With the new PokerStars reward program, did you know, what is the maximum rakeback that we could earn, with all bonuses , chest , etc., for example if we play around 1500-2000 at 100s spins per month ?
Gl at the tables -)
Hi paf, thanks for a message ![]()
You get 25% rakeback by chests (tournament tickets, spin&go tickets, direct cash or Starcoins), plus possible 40% if you play 1800 spins at 100$ level in a month.
For example I've already played 1000 spins but I definitely need to put another 800 games in 13 days, otherwise I won't get anything from precious 3600$ cash.

If you include some promotions and leaderboards, I believe you can get up to 100% in rakeback
This number is very appealing to Regs, and in those 2 weeks I've seen plenty or regulars. In fact, it was very hard to find a recreational player in my games, mostly playing against 2 very strong opponents. Only on Sunday evening the games were soft, but otherwise be prepared for tough battles. How tough? I will post my graph for this period just below ![]()

In two weeks I've been in the biggest downswing in my life
-6400$ although the graph shows that I should have been slightly in profits.. So my bonus hunting doesn't go well and I will need to get much luck to turn that blue line into positive one.
And now my bankroll updates look like this:
