End of $2nl

Now that my bankroll is $270 I can say goodbye to 2nl. I just played some 5nl and I am so happy I can play there now. Winning $5 somehow means something to me while winning $2 not really. Loosing $2 also does not hurt my feelings. Hopefully I will play some more as well now. Now I can win something at the high stakes!

My results at 2nl still where not too good but I think it's just variance:

But we will see once I play some more $5nl ... I am still down a few buyins from an earlier shot.. errr does not look good does it?

I am pretty proud my red line is not going up anymore. This could mean I changed things in my game and did not stay stuck in old habits.. which means there is hope... or it is just variance as well

Yeah, Those red/blue lines can mess your mind really bad, only important line is green. I think if everybody plays same way all lines going down slightly because of a rake. micros usually blueline is money making line cause they overplaying hands and if they folding too much then redline is money making line and so on, but greenline is only important :f_cool: Cheers:f_drink:

Probably variance because changes should lead to increase in blue line. Instead your showdown winnings started diving extremally fast.

If I was you then I would stick to nl2 at least until I will grind up graph to 0. Yes, you may have roll for nl5 or even nl10 now but do you think you can beat those limits after you were losing on nl2?

Thanks for advice, but nah I will play NL5 for now. But not until I have 100 left or something. If I lose around 6 buyins, I will jump back. I do think I can beat nl2 and nl5, but time will tell ...

Ooh ... I did not 'change my game' where the red line starts to go down, but at the very start of this GGPoker graph. It was still going up at first even after, which was probably also variance.

We should not talk about this 12K sample ... I should play ... play more ..

And I became a bit of bankroll nit, I ran 20 buyins under EV on Stars in a pretty short amount of time. So I like to have something like 40 buyins, and 50 for nl2.

Yeah, it can mean also your opponents changes their game.. if they call 100% everybet to the end what happens those red/blue lines. just put those away on your graph and play a lot....

Either blue or red line have to go up faster than other, then green follows they are calling those min value bets so its gonna be a blue

If you try to bluff too much because they are gonna call them, then youre blue line suffer going up but you are "protecting" redline

I'm finally getting used to the bet amounts at nl5 after something like 1500 hands :f_rolleyes:

I did not play much cash, I didn't really feel like it and I played some MTT's instead ... no luck there ... and I also donked some money playing 300 hands AllinOrFold for the honeymoon stuff, but that's okay, I will get $20 back after my mission tomorrow.

Now I'm back to cash except a few MTTs maybe until I get the T$110.

This is $5nl until now, the red is from an earlier shot, I started after that. Not yet loosing a lot, so that's allright.

2500 Hands @ $5nl
Cashgames are going so so EV-wise, that's enough for me now, I am actually happy with it. Not satisfied though, but I feel good.

I sattelited into a $21 6max bounty MTT :gl:

Well that ended sooner then I hoped, no bounty, no nothing... I lost almost my whole stack early on, managed to crawl back up, then got it in with JJ.. against a lot of equiyt ... Always the Jacks ...

I also played 300 hands of Holdem, no rush, and got 20 missions for $20 ... was a long time since I played regular tables:

5 to go for the $110 now.., Probably going to play $5 MTTs with that, sure make some cash for my bankroll and then I can sprinkle all the monies again on the cashgame tables ... :f_confused:

Okay, so I said I was going to play cashgames now, but I feel more like playing MTTs. And then I thought ... well if I keep want to play MTTs and not cashgames ... I think I should do what I want to do! Instead of fighting against myself. If I want to play MTTs I should play MTTs. And I still can play cashgames whenever I feel like it.

So, from now on I am officially playing MTTs as well as CashGames ..
And maybe cashgames not so much until I feel like it..

What is smarter? Split my bankroll between the two and use 2 seperate bankrolls, or just play from 1 bankroll?

I am not sure, that you can complete the last 5/6 missions! They are 3 almost impossible ones left!

You are right, there are nearly impossible missions, but he only needs to complete 5. Play 50 spin and golds, Play 300 hands PLO, Play 500 hands AoF cash, Play 500 rush&cash hands and Play 700 rush&cash hands are pretty easy missions.

Yes I only need 5 ... but man I was sleeping and woke up too late to finish yesterdays mission, which was easy: play 50 spin 'n golds ... :f_zZz: I played 29 and could not finish it!

Now I need to win with quads in omaha ... I don't know how often that happens ... but I kinda have to do this one because I can miss 3 more and there are 3 impossible ones, and the other ones are easy.

@Vorpal: Do you get quads often in Omaha? :f_wink:
I won with most things I think, but I ran very bad with the 300 hands AoF and lost a bit there. I even won with the spin and golds, which I hate to play...

Edit: I already have the quads showdown in Omaha now!! Nice!

Yeah, you do get quads more often, and it's the only game in which you can get double quads...

Haha that's just crazy.
I thought why is the pot still so large, but he had a flushdraw ... he probably shouldn't have gone for the flush on the paired board in Omaha .. well he realized at showdown :P

My Honeymoon is going as planned, 2 more to go:

These missions take a lot of time sometimes, I don't have time for regular play as much. Anyway, the only left over easy missions are to play 500 and 700 hands of Rush, so that's good!

:gl: All

Would have been ironic if villain had K♦:J♦: in that vorpal hand. Though with bad beat jackpot probably not bad outcome :)

To see that hand beaten would have been worth the price.
I have seen quad aces beaten by a royal flush twice -- once online and once live.
The live one was a charity tournament. The tournament stopped as people got up to go take a look.

Neither hand involved me, so I wasn't helped or hurt.

Honeymoon Rewards Change?

Okay, just before I got the T$110 they went and change the last rewards you get for the missions :f_o:... no more T$110, but only T$50 and 2 $50 MTT tickets, and 1 is Omaha ... I don't play Omaha :f_zZz:

I don't like this but what can you do ... get lucky in the $50 MTT ??

Well, I have the T$50 now
... but I don't even know if I am going to do 1 more mission to get a $50 ticket for an Omaha MTT, I stand zero chance in that ...:f_tongue: . If it was a KO tourney I'd go for it, now I'm not sure ... probably waiste of time ...

Well :gl: to me in the $50 Holdem MTT with the ticket I already have!!
